Good afternoon everyone, I've being wanting to ask this question because it baffles me alot and I want to know the right answer to it in conjuction with a bible verse.. so to say



Man was created on the 6th day and to my own knowledge of understanding, women weren't created by then. So.. God later came back to create a Woman out from the ribs of a Man when He sees that a Man needs an helping hand in the Garden of Eden.


My question is, is it the same day Man was created that woman was created?


And if not, which day did God created Woman?

The did not specify the day if it was same day or not, but what is written is that after creating man He found out that man needed a help mate so He created a woman from the man.

That may takes some weeks or months for them to be created I presume

Yes the women was created the same day as the man.

Genesis 1 tells us God created the man and women.

Genesis 2 covers only one day of the creation week namely the sixth day.

Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.”

27 So God created mankind in his own image,
    in the image of God he created them;
    male and female he created them.
28 God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.”

29 Then God said, “I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food. 30 And to all the beasts of the earth and all the birds in the sky and all the creatures that move along the ground—everything that has the breath of life in it—I give every green plant for food.” And it was so.

31 God saw all that he had made, and it was very good. And there was evening, and there was morning the sixth day

I'm pretty sure God does not mean he created the female later, which would mean he created her after the 7th day since God rested from his work on the 7th Day.

So... what u are trying to say is that God detected that man needs an helping hand the same day and time he created man by creating a woman

What would be difficult in that? God sees the end from the beginning. He did not just "detect" or "find out" after the fact

Yes she was created the same day but not the exact same time.

But for Adam no suitable helper was found. So the Lord God caused the man to fall into a deep sleep; and while he was sleeping, he took one of the man’s ribs and then closed up the place with flesh. Then the Lord God made a woman from the rib he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man.

Not sure how long Adam slept.
And the bible does not say how long it took God to form the women.

Thus the heavens and the earth were completed in all their vast array.

2 By the seventh day God had finished the work he had been doing; so on the seventh day he rested from all his work. 3 Then God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it he rested from all the work of creating that he had done. Genesis(2:1-3)

So since the man was created on the 6th day, the women must have been created the same day.

Op, if you can answer this questions, you will understand the scenario described in Genesis

1. Are you a creation of God?
2. Were you formed directly from the dust?
3. If your answer to (1) is yes, on which day were you formed?
