yes, 10k for each month. They will pay you up to ten months. Though bank charges 105naira on each allowance. We were paid 8 months before passing out on 10th Oct 2013, and the remaining two months was paid when we had returned to our respective states. One in Nov and the second one in Dec.

Best States In My Opinion;
-Anambra; Rivers; Enugu ...

Anambra is home for all!
Accommodation is relatively cheap, the lifestyle there is cool, peaceful and everyone is just going about his/her business. My extravagant brother served there, he was able to save a lot of cash after service.
The state allawee is about 5K but u will be contented with it unless u like nkwobi and peppersoup too much
Their guys are always willing to help & their girls fine well well o!

I schooled in Rivers State, know a lot about serving there though.
Most times u won't end up in the main PH City, you'll probably be in Abonnema, Okrika etc and 70% of corpers there are destined for classrooms.

Lagos is not as rosy as people think, even if u get posted to companies they'll use u as cheap labour.
You'll work like a staff and still earn like a corper, most times when they retain you sef they'll still use that corper eye to rate u. NB: Don't go to Lagos if u don't have guaranteed accommodation otherwise na public yard sure pass for u

Abuja is jamrock for guys o, the girls are always lucky there They find their ways into radio stations and other good enough establishments and the rest is history.

Akwa-Ibom is for runs girls, the politicians like corper girls there ehhh! guys remove ur mind from there unless u just want the 10k allawee and u know how to play football betting.

Enugu make sense but accommodation is an issue mostly when u serve in the main town. State allowance is 10k for now. If u teach in Queen of The Rosary college (make I keep the info secret)
If u end up in ezeagu or Igbo-Etiti local government areas, chei! Na rural rugged, village life all the way & you go chop okpa full belle

Imo/Abia, to pay state allowance dey hard these two states
In fact dem be like twins, if u like the quiet/satisfactory lifestyle you'll enjoy them both
But note, no find anybody trouble there cos umu guys ga gba gi egbe if u do anyhow o!
