No body is perfect, that's why you have to involve God into this. More so, you say you earn seven digits a month, if you plan on settling down you can take the unemployed girl and start up a biz for her, that way she can become independent. I believe she is the one you feel most at home with. THAT MATTERS A LOT.

Is obvious your mind goes for the unemployed girl cos u guys are more compatible than the working class girl but the only problem u have with her is cos she gat no job but she's not going to be jobless forever. I feel the unemployed girl will appreciate u more and u guys will have a happy home than the rigid girl cos if u marry her (rigid girl) u will find out that something is missing which the other girl has and by then the unemployed girl might have gotten job and u will be like oh I should have chosen her or chill small for her. So my advice is dat u should go for the unemployed one and don't be carried away cos she's jobless for now.

Oil coys don't even pay that much to most of their employees except to some of the old management staffs with decades of experience prancing about the facility like aristotle.

For those against Op's preference for a woman with a job, same way most ladies won't marry a jobless guy, is also how some guys won't marry a jobless chic. I fall in that category so I understand the op's point of view.
As someone said, try to empower the jobless one, cos it seems you love her more. Your marriage to the career chic will bore you, based on your description of your relationship with her, or its possible she is still getting to know you, and may become more free with you after awhile.

The fact that the first lady is unemployed doesn't disqualify her as a wife material and the fact that the second lady is employed doesn't make her a wife material. By the way, is it compulsory for both of you to be salary earners? Since you earn big, you can set up a business for her. That will even make her take care of your prospective children since she will have time for house hold chores. She will be the boss of herself and nobody will be dictating for her.

I have a little problem and need some advice on it:

I've got a girl I like. We met at nysc and got along really good. Even today i still remember the first day i saw her. She studied psychology and even though I'm an engineer we could relate and talk a lot about her subject, as I read a lot and kinda have read much on psychology. After nysc we still kept in touch and continued to talk even though i never asked her out formally. Soon i got a job away from her. Our talking continued on phone.

While out of Nigeria on training, I met another lady. She's just as pretty as the other one, but has a great job and is a confident woman. The other girl is still searching for a job; and her psychology degree is no help. I have a great job myself and i earn seven digits in naira per month. The new girl also works with an oil form and earns very well. We have got along these past few months and I really have fun talking to her and hanging out.

I have always wanted an independent woman as a wife, a woman who can stand by herself and who has prospects for a huge career. I'm career-minded myself. But now, I'm really confused who to plan my life with and settle down with as a partner: this independent lady who I believe I like or the other unemployed lady who I seem to have a more relaxed, longer friendship with.

Note: I've not asked any of them out formally. Please help.
Men sef with their tight hand. U don't want to spend on a woman hence ur search for an independent woman, smmhhhhh. Who told u that there is a permanent condition in life? Huh, u better pray to God to give u a good wife, rather than using career whatever as your yardstick. Career ko, career nii, by d way, are u not meant to take care of ur wife? Total does not pay fresh intakes up to a million.
I have friends there.
The last person i know that got into total two years ago was earning 750,000 and he was among the highest earners at his level.
Oil price has crashed globally, no oil coy would pay a fresh intake a million.

Hmn my love for entrepreneurship is not based on financial gains but personal reasons. I'm not one of those who condemn salary jobs and at the same time I cannot stand to watch anyone condemn entrepreneurship. I'm not even an Entrepreneur, but a regular freelancer who enjoys his job, conversation with clients and relational capital. And as a matter of fact, I still apply for jobs at my leisure time.

Now to the multinational issue. All I asked is the year he finished nysc. Anyone can earn N1m monthly, but saying a fresh graduate in Nigeria earns N1m+/monthly is what I find unbelievable. You could list the average multinational oil firms who pay such.

Then you should do something about her "unemployed situation". You know not all relationships should lead to marriage. Relationships should be about what you can offer to the next person, not really what you want from them. If you have the wherewithal to empower her (a lil from your seven figure salary), you should do that. Empowerment doesn't necessarily have to be about giving her money. While she is waiting to be employed, does she have any passions that can fetch some form of income from? Have you talked her into getting anymore educational qualifications that would give her an edge against the other millions of graduates being churned out from schools? Does she have a business plan that you can finance? You should help her.
Even if she doesn't end up being as financially independent as you want her to be and end up marrying the other broad, she would never forget you and how you touched her life(as long as sex isnt involved).
