UniqueGem:I was wrong I wanted us to sign Charlie Austin. That na why my Coaching career no go pass football Manager. Martial's rise is something out of a fairy tale and he is the reason why Depay get so much criticism. If martial never started like he did it won't cast Depay in such bad light. I like coleman, he just came back from injury he still a very fine RB. |

Depay isn't United quality -Right Herrera is United's best player-Right again The only guy I was wrong about is Smalling..... How someone can improve soo rapidly is amazing.... I think it was Evans and Smalling then that were the calamity partnership........ I believe Jones can be better than Smalling though........ |

My only worry now is injuries. Important players tend to get injured once we start playing well.... |

One thing I noticed is our fast transition from defense to attack today with the introduction of lingaard, no leg overs, no fanciful flicks but productive and direct football... Schneiderlin and Herrera should man our midfield with Mata as the number 10 behind Rooney...Martial should own the left wing till young recovers or when Depay realises he's not the finished product yet while lingaard and Valencia settle as our right wingers... Wonderful performance from the lads today |

UniqueGem:The annoying thing is he didn't use any skill or body movement.... Just pace,Coleman really vexed me...... Though Martial was great, but you just can't pardon Coleman.....He kept giving that boy space, maybe he was scared.... He was sooo Ivanovic 2 Likes |

SIRcumalot:Sorry but i disagree here sir. Its not because he just came back from injury, its because he Met a very good player in Martial. Depay would have left coleman feeling like Boatank, maldini, nesta, Ramos, lahm, JT, Nemanja and Zanneti packed in one. |

Kolade354: i have nothing in my empty head? if the head is empty in the first place, why would you expect to find something in it? you see what i am saying.......spërmflakes have occupied where your brain cells should be. could this be as a result of the foolish genes your poppa passed to you?
fatigue! he was involved in a slugfest during the week. why is it so comical for you that he didn't start? hazard didn't start, valencia didn't start, oscar didn't start & you are having pre-ejaculatïons over depay?
depay has been better than hazard this season. if it irks you, fall from a high rise and die. so i cannot criticise my manager if he loses? do you think failure is part of my DNA like it is in your family tree? come on dog......strive hard not to be like your father. it would be for our collective good on this forum if you don't grow up to be like him. we cannot tolerate his foolishness and then tolerate your idïocy. anuofia!!! 4 Likes |

Mourinholic: Smalling didn't improve "rapidly". He has improved, but he was never half as bad as most fans made him out to be. From day one, i knew the guy would be a star. What is it that you see in Jones that makes you think he could be better than Smalling?? |

I'm really just here to state that the sight of Memphis on the bench gave me great joy today. |
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by UniqueGem(m): 5:56pm On Oct 17, 2015 |
Mourinholic:The pace is just about enough trick to beat someone who's a low budget ivanovic. |

Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by PietroRico(m): 6:00pm On Oct 17, 2015 |
The last player that was this exciting was Nani before he went haywire Any time martial is on the ball, everyone holds their breadth in anticipation for what he's going to do next.. And he rarely disappoints What a player!! Even the opponents are left doing random guesses on whether he'll pass, if he'll cut in to his right, or just run down the left.. Coleman looked like a 17 yr old boy making his debut in the latter part of today's game... And on top all these, he still remains level headed, never raises his shoulder.. Depay hope you are watching.. Better adjust before I send thunder.. If he continues to improve, there's no telling the kind of player we'll have on our hands in years to come Herrera is another joy to watch His movement is just superb He makes life easy for everybody He is always moving around making trying to make sure he's an outlet in both difficult positions at the back and promising positions in front Always looking to close down the opposition.. And uses the ball fairly intelligently. He's a major reason for the quick transition from defence to attack I dunno what downsides Plato is seeing to his game but it's hard to believe they outweigh the positives.. 1 Like |

coogar:Personally i see nothing wrong with the headline. Lets look at it this way: The wounds were already inflicted by Morgan and Herrera and Rooney rubbed in salt, its just a way to summarize what happened in a sentence. If you look at it from another angle, Rooney's name had to mentioned because its he's first away goal in nearly a year, 330days and it came against he's formal team whom he has not scored against since 2007. Oya suggest a better headline. |

coogar:Fatigue, I guess Martial didn't travel neither schiewni too. You are a pathrtic fool boy. Hazard at his worst still shyte on depay. Now go back and collect ya sense frm ur useless father, Oh ya father is even senseless. Idioot like you think you have knowlegde abt futball with your sitting room and nairaland analysis. Now run along you scumback with your tail in between your Yam Leg. Idioot. 2 Likes |

Mourinholic:Whats your point exactly? That Coleman is too good a RB to be floored by Martial or that instead Ivanovic should be the low budget Coleman? What? |
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by coogar: 6:10pm On Oct 17, 2015 |
UniqueGem: it's psychological. people who didn't watch that game would believe rooney did it all in that game. that's how the media manipulate the sheep. whoever gets that headline the most gets the accolades at the end of the season. if rooney had scored the opener or the 2nd goal, his name woulda been mentioned as well and the headline woulda been adjusted slightly. we have been seeing this over the years and it doesn't change. i asked one of the editors of guardian via email years ago & they said they take a special interest in english players. |

Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by UniqueGem(m): 6:13pm On Oct 17, 2015 |
coogar:Hmmm i never knew. Well nonetheless, i still think its normal for the favour to swing in the direction of the English player, na their home na, its like an home base eagle grabing all the headline in nigeria league over a foreigner. Its their birth right. Lol |
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by coogar: 6:14pm On Oct 17, 2015 |
Kolade354: you have poop for brains! martial, schweini had already qualified. the games they were involved in were just formality. depay was involved in a make or mar game. the intensity was quite different. you are doing the equivalent of comparing a relegation fight on the last day of the prem to a dead rubber game where both teams have nothing to fight for.
if someone else had sired you, i wouldn't have had to explain the difference between a slugfest and a dead rubber game. however, foolish genes had already populated your nervous system before you crawled into this forum so i cannot help you. my advice - please don't procreate! |
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by SIRcumalot: 6:16pm On Oct 17, 2015 |
coogar:"The rub salt in wound part" is just because rooney scored last besides this na just one paper. I don't think anybody go give rooney MOTM. |
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by coogar: 6:18pm On Oct 17, 2015 |
UniqueGem: i understand that bit..... the real issue here is that some people don't even believe there's any bias at all even if it's very small. they believe every player is treated equally. rooney blasts the referee in every game and he's never been carded since he became the 3 lions captain. let iheanacho try the same thing and let's see if he won't be punished for it or sent off sef. |
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by sinizia: 6:18pm On Oct 17, 2015 |
coogar: Very biased headline. If not for English hype, Rooney would've been exposed for whom he truly is - over-hyped!! |

Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by PietroRico(m): 6:24pm On Oct 17, 2015 |
SIRcumalot:common, they know what they're doing If Rooney must make the headline, why was it not about the fact that this was his first away goal for so long |
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by coogar: 6:24pm On Oct 17, 2015 |
SIRcumalot: you don't understand..... rooney is the subject of the formula - it doesn't matter when he scored, they have a different line for whatever he does as long as he scores. rooney 1-0 headline = united tame everton as rooney draws the first blood. rooney 2-0 headline = united tame everton as rooney consolidates with a brilliant goal. rooney 3-0 headline = united tame everton as rooney rubs salt to injury. |
