those cold sores are a form of herpes and they are contagious when visible. you should NOT kiss her when she has an open sore or cold sore on her lips or mouth.

Whats the point in kissing someone with a sore lips?? Thought kissing was meant to be pleasurable, not painful.

Aside that, its bad and (could) expose one to diseases/viruses.
