What are you people complaining about i had worst situation when i served in Kastina State 2005, no doors or windows just beds ....... No fence around the NYSC camp

By the way it is a para-military training and not an excursion so we go through it for a few weeks and we are either back to our bases or back to our place of primary assignmnent. This period is meant to teach you of the cuture of the new people you dwell with and slightly toughen you approach to life. Stop complaining!!!!

If you do not want to serve simply ask for exemption and face the music later in your professional life

my 21 days stay in this yikpata camp as a batch A corper 2010/2011 was like Hell in a Cell. A corps member from benin city died of snake bite... reptiles everywhere... for those in this camp presently, always move at night on ur jungle boot to avoid snake bites...

Yes....after going through all of this...serve for a year, they still pass out remaining unemployed, years after service. Pls thus thing should be reviewed...... It should be voluntary.

Exactly, that's where I serve, where I camped, that hall right there is called the military ZONE, we (our) set named it, it's close to the Pavillion , copers there are very stubborn, there u find Thief, liers, dirty guys, clean guys and even homo...... If u don't wake up as early as 3am,u don't get water to bath, food rendered to us are damn lacking nutrients, we eat three times a day but we keep looking like who ate once a week,....... But the girls makes us happy though, I catch one sweet babe there sha and she be somebody girlfriend oh, anyway, Mami market is my spot, I don't leave there, as for activities in camp like parade, or man O'war, count me out, I escape all of dem, me and my real guy in camp, (I missed Charles, emperor, lucky, ola fukin guy, ndubuisi yomi and d rest,)....

Most of all, there's a lot of fun... U just have to live it to the fullest..... Making life worth living is just the life and nothing more.... Missed yikpata, missed gbugbu, missed lafiagi, missed kpandaragi... Missed Edu local government area,..... Long live NIGERIA corppers......CDS supervisor kpandaragi batch A, 2013, AKA copper ETIZZ... They can't, Corps members are prohibited from participating in protests. In fact we are not allowed to speak to the press as regards NYSC issues

On the flip side, at least they've got ceiling fans.

How's this shocking? that's how NYSC has been, I served in delta state 2010, the only difference is we had bunks, double decker, which only made the halls more populated.... I assume this to be the compulsory punishment u get for graduating in Naija Uni..... Greatest UITES!!!!
