Good morning Nne...

Do we really need prayers in this country?... Over the years, Thousands of prayer sessions have been held because Nigeria.

We need to WORK, not just pray. I like your faith though, I wish I had that kinda faith.

I, like every well meaning Nigerian wish well for this country.

Happy new month. smiley

You could do well by starting with yourself, a renew faith in Nigeria and a renewed conviction of rejecting any form of corruption would go a long way in changing people's mind and perception. The Journey of a thousand mile, starts with a single step.
GOD Bless us All
GOD Bless Nigeria and everyplace else.

Learn to read and understand, listen to yourself and then listen to others. It will do you a lot good. Now Google the word 'tantrum', then read my initial comment and all your posts.

You're a big thug. You need to wash your head for turning a nice prayer thread to a cursing thread. You need to visit a Psychiatrist for turning a non political thread to political.

you might be right to some extent, over d yrs, I tried to study "him/she", I discovered he/she is intelligent, in terms of English composition, but he/she does not use it to his/her advantage, tomorrow, he/she will log in as a woman, next tomorrow, as a male, all dis just to cause trouble....., its getting too much..

Omenka.
I have never cursed any Nigerian President, past, present or future. Even where I have subtly done so, I try to retrace and keep a clean slate, even apologising where necessary.

Can the same be said of you?

I understand the principle that "an office you do not respect, you can never occupy".

I might decide to keep wailing from tomorrow till thy kingdom come.
Today, however, I have decided to do things differently. The first three days of every month are ominous/auspicous.

Not everyone needs to understand the import of what I've done here.
And that's fine by me.

Bloody hypocrite. Nigeria doesn't need prayers from people like you and the goat called severussnape. whats the sense in praying hypocritically for Buhari here and still go ahead to wail about him in subsequent threads i see beyond your folly. You're just toying with the psyche of the gullible on here and am not deceived. Fat Biitch

MizMyColi:

Well, like I said, people pray for different reasons.

I'm not the kind who prays so that God can wield a magic wand and make all our problems go away.
No.

Prayer has a way of changing my attitude to things.
Matter of fact, I don't pray always.
But when I do, it usually counts for something.

I understand your angle, but one thing you should ask yourself is that, during the time of those corporate prayers, what was the state of mind of those who prayed?

Some of them harboured bitterness and unforgiveness.
Others were praying and had intentions of going to do worse things tomorrow.

My prayers today deepened my understanding that true change starts with me.
It helped me totally forgive two of my good friends who happen to be NLers. I was able to see the good in them again.
It has helped not to harbour evil thoughts against the persons who are deliberately seeking to anger me on this thread.

If that's not a miracle what celebrating, I wonder what is. There's power in prayer, when done rightly. I believe that much.
It's unfortunate, when u pray rightly the changes starts with you, not wielding magic wand.

God can not bless a wicked zoo that have survived on the blood of the innocent. The forces against nigeria is greater than the weak forces pulling it together. The zoo is cursed and irredeemable. Spend more time praying for souls of innocent children and women you buried under the pillars of zoogeria in 66-70.

Zoogeria is cursed forever! No amount of prayers can save it.

Never hate your enemies. It makes a mess of your sense of reasoning.

You can contain the hate and wait till you get up and close to be able to behead them as you so wish. That's if they are not armed with guns compared to your outdated model of machete.

For a mere written comment of a total stranger to inspire such hate means you need to work on yourself first. You've got to respect peoples opinions regardless of how stupid it sounds to you.

You are treading a dangerous path if you take this mindset to real life.

This thread is meant for corporate prayers, best wishes and thoughts.

Let positivity, and light guide us as we make pronouncements concerning Nigeria and her people.

Even if you're a Biafran or Odua republic apologist, for now, we are still a nation...

Do take time out to wish everyone and everything around you well.
It'll go a long way.

Finally, I wish everyone, I mean EVERYONE reading this a HAPPY NEW MONTH and Better Days Ahead.

I thank you all in anticipation of your co-operation.

Hi sister,

Thank you for this thread.

May God bless Nigeria and Nigerians.

May God bless our President and all our leaders in Nigeria.

I pray the Almighty God grant them wisdom to lead and to rule with the fear of God.

God bless Nairaland and all Nairalanders.

May the Peace of God reign in Nigeria, Africa and in the world.

Happy New Month. tongue

Shalom.

Firefire!
