Ritchiee: I like this. What do the US Marines use again? - Semper Fidelis? There are loads of Nigerians in the UK military as well - they should be over 1000 of them. And a lot of them are Yorubas. I've been trying to search the net to find names of the exceptional ones, but I can't find any for now. Most of the names out there are Caribbeans. Should keep searching though. 3 Likes |

My people, this thread gives me so much joy! this is a thread to celebrate our past achievements, our heroes and the same time be sober and reflect on on how we got it all wrong as Yorubas in all indices of development and education. How we failed to build effectively on the solid foundation laid down by our founding fathers. This thread should not only stir up nationalistic pride in all yorubas, but also stir up a wake up call to action from the mightiest to the smallest to reflect deeply and act with fervour and sincerity of purpose to progress the great Yoruba Nation. I promise henceforth to contribute my own thoughts from now on too. My greetings to the great yoruba ambassadors like aareonakakanfo (the field marshal) shym3x flyoruboy, ilekeh, superstar1 scholes0 and all other great guys that I did not mention. Eku ise, owo yin ama roke. 5 Likes |
