IlekeHD: And how feasible is regionalism? Would the parasitic North allow the free oil money they get from the South go away like that? Would they allow the tilting of the balance power and deny themselves the dominion they have over the rest of the country now? How are the new regions going to be formed, so as to enable folks from the same ethnic groups, in all the pseudo-regions in the country now re-align with their brothers and sisters? The whole thing is a pipe-dream - the North won't give up the dominion it has now, without a fight. And the vicious cycle of perpetual underdevelopment is going to continue. Yorubas just need to sit down and think about the way forward. We can't just let some shytehole keep holding our progress down. We're on our way to becoming a first world country in the first republic before everything was truncated. Why do we have to keep sacrificing our progress for that shytehole? Time to come together as one and start playing chess. The checkers under the guise of pseudo-sophistication is boring now. 1 Like |

Shymm3x: Honestly, every time a Yoruba types "one Nigeria" on NL, I feel like dashing him/her a hot slap. Is it a curse? I think it's feasible because we're the North's only alliance in the south....and the alliance is on the brink. When Yorubas realize it and North realize Yorubas have realized it, then we can start a whole new conversation. 1 Like |

IlekeHD: The one-Nigeria simpletons are mostly semi-illiterates, politicians, sycophantic pseuds, and emotional loafers who can't see beyond their nostrils. Once you study the history of Nigeria, look at the dynamics of things, and do a proper comparative analysis with countries that are working - you will see why progress will forever be elusive to the country. The structure is fundamentally faulty. The ghost of the Biafran war will never leave the country. And goals will never align cos it's a three-headed monster - Hausa/Fulani, Igbo, and Yoruba. Then you have the religious differences. Too many layers to attain progress and for proper nation building, hence the country keeps sinking every year, regardless of who's in charge. Nigeria might be the only country that retrogresses annually and the reason isn't farfetched. They called the cow jockey, Buhari, the saviour - but after five months in power, he's yet to even achieve the easiest thing: appoint ministers. And the economy is about to crash under his watch. Before him, there was a GEJ - who was an utter despicable m0ron of the highest order. No one can fix that country the way it is - not even Jesus. The only people holding Nigeria together are Yorubas. So the question is: why are Yorubas sacrificing their own destiny for the sake of a failure that can't be redeemed? 3 Likes |

Project after my heart, quality primary education. Though i am not a fan of Mimiko, i can across these pictures from ondo state. He claims to have built 51 of these types of schools. They are not top notch but far better than other SW states to the best of my knowledge

Shymm3x: That's the big elephant in the room. I think we're on the defensive mode. We're trying to defend our moves and actions. Yorubas do not attack, we defend [which can be disabling]. Yorubas are collective people. Once the word starts spreading.....well. |
