I can't watch the match due to time factor(11pm). Nevertheless, I pray that they'll come out victorious by the end of today's encounter. May their effort & sacrifice not be in vain in Jesus' name.

South east & south south always constitute 70% of Nigeria team. But nobody is wailing but if it is other parts of the country that is dominating, the wailers will be on rampage. I don't know when these people will see Nigeria as one

Good one but. If is in Nigeria and Buhari the team coach only northerners would had made the first team
The only people you won't find outside Nigeria working in multinationals are northerners. Why? Because in Nigeria they are the best.

President Muhammadu Buhari on Saturday
afternoon had telephone conversations with
members of Nigeria’s U-17 team ahead of their
World Cup final on Sunday, TheCable can report.
The Golden Eaglets, coached by Emmanuel
Amuneke, will play against Mali in the final in
Chile, hoping to make it a record 5th win after
victories in 1985, 1993, 2007 and 2013.
Buhari spoke with each member of the team,
charging them to repeat the feat of 30 years
when Nigeria became the first African country to
win a FIFA tournament.
Buhari, who was military head of state at the
time, charged the team to “do it again” because
it will encourage Nigerians, particularly the
youths.
Sani Abacha, the former head of state, started
the tradition of telephone chat with the national
team in 1994 ahead of the Africa Cup of
Nations final in Tunisia, which Nigeria won.
But Buhari’s conversation was not televised,
unlike in the past.

This isnt mere coincidence. The Presidency have a team that are on nl cos how is it possible for me to criticize if they used live chat to talk to the boys, only to see the topic on fp some hours to ACTUALLY prove me wrong? shocked

see comment on earlier thread.

N:B-This will make 4/4 of such reaching the media hours after someone online criticizes/bashes the fg under PMB.

These boys would need to see the 85 videos to understand 'how to do it again' cos they were'nt even embryoes by 1985

reporting this same story of presidential call to a national team by past presidents, the papers only give us the headlines and then the story, that's it. Sometimes no picture accomplings it and if any will, it will either be the president's official potrate or the national team's picture. I wonder why in Buhari's turn, they have to display this picture of him holding a palm top... hmm. if he really did call them, that is cool but this thing they want sell give us no dey move market at all undecided

if you took a few minutes to read the original article you'll know the picture used here is not the same one used on the main article.
