CabbieAC: Nje tí bá fi àlébù mi hàn ìwo Onítèmi? (If I showed you my flaws, my own (his woman)) Nje o kòní jámi kulè? (Would you leave me? ) Nje tí wón bá tìmí mó túbú? (Remember my words, you (the drummer of the bottom sea)) - could mean, my beating heart or the river that flows. Some words were weird when I translated them to english 1 Like 1 Share |

Re: Yoruba Commonwealth and Politics by Ilekeh(f): 3:08am On Nov 08, 2015 |
CabbieAC: I took Yoruba classes during my undergrad days. I didn't learn to write/read Yoruba in Nigeria (too young then), I learn it at a top Uni. Omo Yoruba is too sweet to pass. Ewwww @ the lips coody. @the poem, I may have made some errors tho, some words are not directly translatable. |
Re: Yoruba Commonwealth and Politics by Ilekeh(f): 3:10am On Nov 08, 2015 |
@CabbieAC Do you agree with this? Osun State Govt. To Start Implementing Land Use Charge Law The Osun State Government has sent the Land Use Charge bill to the state’s House of Assembly for passage into law. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W9xNM41y538 |
Re: Yoruba Commonwealth and Politics by Nobody: 3:16am On Nov 08, 2015 |
Iya Agba so that's how you'll reject that kiss kontinew As for the poem,I honestly don't think I'd have done a better job except for few words like alebu, instead of flaws, I would have used deformity I support the Land Use charge thing but I expect Aregbe to focus more on tourism to boost Osun's IGR.That's where the potentials of that state lie |
Re: Yoruba Commonwealth and Politics by Ilekeh(f): 3:22am On Nov 08, 2015 |
CabbieAC: Of course, I guess the economy can't wait for tourism revenue since it's just kicking off. Land Use Charge is quicker to administer. I just wonder who will be charged and by how much? |
Re: Yoruba Commonwealth and Politics by Nobody: 3:32am On Nov 08, 2015 |
Ilekeh: Just kicking off? What has he been doing since all these years I believe companies will be charged the most. Look at what the former Cross-river guy did with the tourism sector and I don't even believe Cross-river has as much potentials as Osun state when it comes to tourism.Do you know this is Obudu Ranch?Look at those fine huts Imagine Osun state building something like that for tourists who come for Osun festival

CabbieAC: Baba agba, Akwa Ibom state is one of those states I like in Nigeria. As an oil producing state, it should look more beautiful than that tho. |

Re: Yoruba Commonwealth and Politics by Nobody: 3:50am On Nov 08, 2015 |
Ilekeh: Don't mind those fools jare.I already told you about the mindset of the average romani regarding Lagos. Its like a holy site. Everything you can find in Lagos is in Akwa Ibom/Calabar except population but those fool.s will never go there. You need to see their population in Akure,Its scary! and we're suffering for it.Unfortunately these leeches are never grateful and some Yoruba mandrills will come here and tell me one Nigeria. One Nigeria ko One somalia ni 1 Like |

Ilekeh: The yoruba states are overburdened, true story... & I read something about NL turning into joke, it's been that way for a long time... Don't you see the "quality" of the threads that make the FP? Tonto Dike cooks egusi for the first time!! All seun & his moss care about is number of hits & the bottom line, every other thing is secondary.. 1 Like |
