hugoboss70:The Federal high court rejected that section of the electoral act, so it's a nullity. Read more about it here http://www.vanguardngr.com/2011/07/court-rejects-sections-of-2010-electoral-act/ 1 Like |

mmabubakar: Hope you know that Governorship and deputy is a joint ticket, so as people voted Peter Obi into the seat, they equally voted Etiaba to the seat in any case where obi becomes invalid. Saying that Etiaba wasn't elected is akin to saying GEJ wasn't elected when he became the president in Yar Adua's stead . Understand the concept |

I don't want to sound like a di*ck, but i remember how christians were up in arms in taraba that a christian MUST win the governorship election or else, and finally when dickson was installed, they were busy mocking muslims that its imposible for a muslim to rule taraba, but they were subtle in their religious discrimination by saying that they don't want a female as governor, however everyone knew that what they really don't want is a muslim rulling them because i am sure that if the female was a christian, they would have massively supported her not minding her gender. Well, this is our time to also rub it in your faces mama taraba is now your governor whether you like it or not. |

This glad tiding is victory for justice, democracy, equity and positive-but-egalitarian feminism. The evils that Party Deceiving People unleashed on innocent Nigerians for good 16 years are living after their political demise! |

dumodust:oga....stop arguing blindly....Peter obi was d governor voted by the people; she was the speaker or so and acted till he was reinstated....she didnt 'contest' as governor. .....Alhassan contested, campaigned and was the face of a Party....and with the tribunal decision; the 1st 'elected' woman as governor....not 'acting' 1 Like |
