I don't do screen anymore I'm just giving you tips.

Plus, you don't coat your mesh with a skeegee, get something like a used atm card or a plastic id card to coat.
Whether screen or digital and graphics in general, will still like to learn

Heat Transfer machine = cost N65,000, 2. Heat Transfer Paper = cost N150 to N200 depending the make, 3. Coloured Printer. 4. Scissors. Hope this helps...

Materials needed for digital printing:-

Heat transfer machine, inkjet printing machine, heat transfer paper, paper cutter, scissors.
. Please Note:-that you don’t use any kind of printer for this job. This job has its own special printer and paper. And the paper required for it is heat transfer paper. The printer I use is EPSON R230 printer.Note:- You don’t need to be a corel draw guru to do this job. After all, am not that proficient in the application though I know the basics but when it comes to core designing, I no sabi all those things. I just give the work to one of my friends who majors in designing. She does it and sends me the soft copy. Also, note that its not only corel draw that one can use. You can use any other applications ooo.

prices for the products varies from where you buy it but if think buying them online is far more cheaper. According to my Oga, he bought his heat transfer machine for 95k..

for the transfer paper, sorry because I don't have pictures of them and presently am still in NYSC orientation camp but the one we use alot is opaque because its very good and brings out a nice job . Opaque is N150 for white and for coloured is N200. The price depends on the location. but its far cheaper in Onitsha, Lagos and some other states. Please note that if you use a bad heat transfer paper, it can damage your printer.. Another thing you have to note about the paper is that the one for white that is N150 is meant for white clothes and coloured (dark) for coloured clothes.
And if you are going to get an ink jet epson printer now, please don't go for epson r230, go for the higher ones like the epson work force . All these machines are far cheaper abroad from N25k and N50k. But here in Naija, they will be telling you N120k.

I think Iron+Silicon paper is still manageable in absence of heat transfer machine. Am I right boss?

Yes I have heard about pressing iron doing the job but I haven't tried it. Though I was told many people in Onitsha do use it.

Wow! You are a blessing!!! I'm in Asaba, please where can I get the materials for the screen printing? Also, where can I get heat printing silicon paper, I intend to start with pressing iron first.

Also, can one start with an ordinary printer? Until a proper printer is purchased

Thanks in anticipation. GOD bless you sir!

Since you said you are in Asaba, I will advise you to get the heat transfer paper at a store close to eso filling station after ogbogonogo market. I believe you know a street close to fine angel super market , there is a store that sells those papers. Am sorry you can't just use any printer for the work because the paper might not pass through the printer. Rather there is a shop close to that eso filling station, they have that kind of printer and deals in commercial printing. You can print your work there.

Procedures...
After making your design on corel draw. Say as the late mama Ngbaku has died. We have printed on the back of there T-shirts using screen printing. There family still want us to print their late mom’s image as a pocket size on the front pocket of the T-shirt. So after designing it. I then print it out with my EPSON photo printer. (Make sure)you are printing it out with a transfer paper. photo below...

Re: Tutorial : how To Start The Business Of Printing On T-shirts by onismate: 1:02am On Nov 11, 2015
After printing, I split and divide the paper into sizes (recall that the printed image was 6 images of mama Ngbaku in 1 A4 size paper). So that means we are getting 6 images from 1 A4 size after splitting

Re: Tutorial : how To Start The Business Of Printing On T-shirts by onismate: 1:08am On Nov 11, 2015
After that, remove the image layer from the paper. So we don’t need the paper. So the one that has the image is the one we need.
