please, kindly advise, I applied for and was twice refused a US visa in 2014, that application was completed by an agent who falsified information about my marital status, parents names and their date of birth. Including false information about my academic qualifications and work details stating that I am a field engineer going for a training seminar whereas I am a nurse. however, my biodata were correct. Now, I am applying for a UK study visa to pursue a nursing degree and I am worried of my prevous records/experience with the US refusal since I have to state in my application that I was denied US visa in the past. Will UKBA find out details about information supplied to US immigration? what informoation will they share about applicants records? |

Hello, The passport number on my appointment confirmation is my old passport number. I have tried to change it by updating the appointment, but there is no provision for inputting Passport number. Has anyone one had this issue before, how was it resolved. |

@abode Since you're providing accommodation. You need to send your mortgage bill, utility bill, copy of your passport data page with clear evidence of your immigration status in the UK. A letter of invite clearly stating that you will accommodate and provide feeding for your parents during their stay in the UK. For your parent. Your father should sponsor the trip and provide his Company's Certificate of Incorporation issued by CAC, Three years Tax Clearance Certificate from FIRS, Personal Income Tax Card from State Government, Bank statements, Certificate of Occupancy, contract documents, way bills, Sale and Storage licences from Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR), Lifting Right Permit also from DPR and other documents which can proof as their ties to Nigeria. Best Wishes. |

Twostep: Sounds like you have no "strong ties to return home" after your visit. You will look a poor risk to visa officer unless you can get better background. |

I have just completed the NYSC and currently still working where I served earning 25k monthly. On the other hand, I have been receiving 100k monthly from my dad as well as 30k from my senior sister making my minimum monthly income to be 155k. These monies have been paid to me monthly since i returned to nigeria following my graduation in december 2014. Prior to now I have been issued 5 UK visas over the last five years (three C-visit visas and 2 tier-4 visas) and have made 11 entries to the UK between 2010 and now. In addition, I have been issued three schengen visas over the last 18 months and have visited France, Holland, Germany , Spain(twice) and Portugal over the last one year. However, I wish to visit the UK for christmas and will like to seek your advice on how to present my finances as I have three sources of income monthly (PPA stipend, allowance from my dad and allowance from my sis). Lastly , I have a bank balance of 800K built over time as debit and credit transactions has been taking place on my account over time |

Twostep: What will your visit to the UK benefits your uncle? Question on ECO's mind. I am afraid, you cannot be sponsored by your uncle to go on vacation except for compelling family visit or medical purposes. As an adult, you are supposed to be financially independent to meet the requirement for a tourist visa. You'll be considered as an intending immigrant until you can convince the ECO that you are not one. You must therefore be able to show that you have reasons for returning to your home country that are stronger than those for remaining in the UK. "Ties" to your home country are the things that bind you to your home country, job, family, financial prospects that you own or will inherit, investments, etc. |
