Was anticipating serious pain cos of the oxytocin. But The pain was bearable.. Although they were increasing the dose slowly. By 9 or 10 am or so I was still 5cm my water was broken. Pain was still bearable... Then it increased by 12 noon. (Contractions good but was not dilating well enough) Was given painkillers cos they wanted me to rest and b ready for the real deal I finally increased to 7 cm this time. All these while they kept asking if I wanted epidural. But I kept saying no.. My DH was just looking cos he wanted me to take it. Anyway I slept off. Even the vag examination I didn't feel it... The sleep was real. By the time I woke up Hmmmm the pain was serious. But I still refused the epidural suggestions. By now contractions were 5mins apart and stronger. The pain became so bad I requested for epidural. But was told I had to b rushed fluid first nd bla bla. So I asked them to stop the oxytocin pending when the anesthesiologist will come.
She came and before I knew what was happening she was done. There after no more pain. It was a jolly good ride. Lol.

God is indeed faithful. I can relate with the epidural story, took it at 3cm and it was indeed a jolly ride. Kept pinging and listening to music until i was told that I'm 10cm and ready to push. I will take over and over again....lol

@ wood. I don't know where u can get it o. If u wanna work with a carpenter just tell him the wood u want. I made my bunk bed with Akala tho, they've used it for 5years no problems. Its detachable too. Get the rright furniture maker and u are good to go
