I sincerely need advice on sharp LED tv. I bought one for my bedroom in may this year. just last week, the pictures stopped showing while the Sony in my parlour that i bought 2 years ago, is still going strong. I didn't connect the tv to a power sourge.
Any advice will help pls. Its a 32' sharp aquos tv.

If you bought it at the right place and its not fake, they shuold give you waranty... Take it back there!

I bought it from Jumia in may this year, and it has a one year warranty. I've called Jumia to complain but they told me there is no sharp care center in Nigeria. I don't know what to do about this TV now. I will never buy anything online again

Wow! Those people are crazy. So they offer warranty on all those TVs whereas they can't even repair it when broken? And they brandish the warranty logo on all their TVs as if its a sure thing.

Lg is equally very good like jazz04 make sure u re buying from acredited dealer and they are quite cheap. I just acquire a 32in LN570 smart for 56k @fuani PHC on wenesday. It has 3 usb and HDMI each with some free satelite channels. I initially paid 70k for d 32in free to air satelite smart tv bt had to change my mind because it does not hav d magic remote. So blieve me u can get an LG led tv for as low as 45k. Mind u I never liked lg products cos I belived they re mass produced and there are lots of fake LG eletronics u will never find @ d dealers shop.

What made the difference is the design: while polystar and other cheaper brands have simple form factor with, cheap looking non glossy plastic bezel, the big names have better sleek design that appeal to the eye..

Buy polystar. Patronize Nigerian products.

Magic remote is compartible only wit Smart tvs, it shows cursor like computer mouse and of cus u can. Browse wit ur tv as a computer screen. U can mak proper use of HDMI port by havin an HDMI cable available,and connecting wit compartible devices.

PUBLIC INFO: I have experience in selling electronics. LG is actually a good product but their rep in Nigeria - Fuani Nig Ltd is owned by a typical Lebanese biz man. I had observed that LG products always have new exiting models but has more tendency to faults. Once I checked a model of a Home Theatre on LG Korea site and discovered that that model is not produced by LG. I diligently traced the model to Chinese electronic producers. Hence my conclusion: Fuani imports original LG but also go to China and make fake ones with LG label and mix them up for sale. BUYING FROM AUTHORISED DEALERS IS NOT A GUARANTEE OF BUYING AN ORIGINAL - IN NIGERIA. Rather bother about who can give you authentic warranty.

So after reading reviews here, I went and picked up a polystar home theater from their showroom opposite Obosi plaza in alaba int'l. And I must say I'm overwhelmingly disappointed!

The sub-woofer is a total rubbish! you can't make out any clear sound from it. Just that stupid "duuuuuuuuuuuummmmmmm" sound.

Please how clear is the sound from your sub-woofer? I mean, unplug other speakers, do you hear any good sound from the sub-woofer?

I really hope this is just a faulty unit, because if this is what they've been selling to Nigerians and no one has started a "don't buy a polystar home theater " campaign then we indeed are helping to rob ourselves.


I've called the office and they promised to send someone over to come take a look.

Will update my findings and experience here.

i dont know much about their home theater, their product that am using is tv and fridge and both so far has bn working excellent. my home theater is djack 6085 and so far so good

u are one of those suffering from inferiority complex. so to u LG and Samsung are the one who produce better tvs? the LG home theatre I bought from their office in Lagos after 6months it stopped producing sound I took it back to their office they said it's the sound ic but they couldn't change it because according to them that model is know to give that issue and they knew about it but kept selling it to the public and again they don't have the ic. I bought polystar home theatre September 2012 and up till now it has bn rock solid no complaints or anything. as for the tv it's not about bn to expensive cos I have LG and my friends use LG too but they were all wowed with my polystar. a guy in my lodge is using LG Led tv but he can't view it from all angle but mine I can view it from all angry be it standing by the side or laying down I see everything clearly more than my neighbour LG. u guys think buying something at 100k means those who bought another one of 50k are poor or broke people. smh.

op like I said if u are in Lagos just go to their showroom and see for ur self, u will see the ones better than that LG u talking about cos they have different varieties and if u are not wowed comeback here and tell me
