Sir, let's be truthful...... Before ONAZI LEFT THE PITCH....... THE ANSWER is YES!!! Nigeria were slightly better. We even had a good goal disallowed. Remember?? *smiles* kendrick9: 3 Likes |

kendrick9: 54 min Filthy tackle from Matuidi almost amputates Onazi's ankle and foot. He 'had eyes only for the ball' is the commentator's cop out. He was booked but it could have been red, all six studs going over the ball and planting themselves forcefully into Onazi's ankle. Matuidi apologisesa nd looks remorseful, but that's the end of Onazi. |

peterd53: Even if you are going for a goal, you do not tamper with your midfield. You can tamper with the defense and go three at the back. That has been one of Mourinho's regular mistakes this season. You can see it against Everton where he took off Mikel in search of a winning goal and Everton scored two goals. The attackers will not get enough balls and the defense will be under pressure. The team loses balance. As for Elderson Echiejile, there is a reason why we were doing poorly during the AFCON qualifiers after Echiejile returned from injury. Coach Keshi noticed it and dropped Echiejile for Oshaniwa. It is time for Coach Oliseh to do the same. Oshaniwa offers more to the team. 2 Likes |

Oga, yes we were in search of goals but that's exactly why Iheanacho came in. Martins for Mikel?? Who is in that midfield then?? Did you read my earlier posts? There, you will see how that team was when Nacho came in........ An almost perfect set-up that was sure to yield goals within a couple of minutes. But Oliseh spoilt everything....... Haba!!!!!!!!! And sorry, echiejile was no flop today. That title belongs to SYLVESTER IGBOUN..... #fact. Then, Followed by Rabiu Ibrahim....... *smiles* Ambrose was also shaky. But that "move" by Oliseh spoilt it all..... It was a super silly technical move. peterd53: 1 Like |

Maybe.... But Musa's pace on the right wing trumps Martins there. Truth is, after Iheanacho came in..... Oliseh would have been safer without bringing in Martins. Ighalo and Moses Simon were equally doing well. But if bringing in Martins was "absolutely necessary" because of "what Nigerians would say like, **why invite a man all the way from the USA if you will not play him??**, then bring him in for Ighalo. Having strikers on the field without "YOUR MIDFIELD GENERAL" is like having bullets in your gun but "NO TRIGGER". #tacticalfact Empredboy: 1 Like |

kendrick9: And you are saying the same thing over again. It is not injuries but a deliberate attempt to weaken the other team by injuring them. If the French were so ahead, why resort to a deliberate attempt to injure players to win. Explain that before staking your hard earned money and calling a Lazio player mediocre. |
