You think our representative are fools like you and the formal administration that follow the crowd?
Shut up if you can't make constructive criticism of my post.

You want to tell me 144 countries are foolish for voting in support.Worst of it all is seeing Nigeria alongside two nations with terrible human rights record, now we've taken it to the global stage showing we have no regard for human dignity in whatever sphere by boldly supporting this.

Good move by Nigeria. Groups like Amnesty International are biased. We need a truly independent human rights organization. The US use alleged human rights abuse as a pretext to meddle in the affairs of a sovereign country.

Alot of us will readily run with the UN on this. But I see it differently.
If u can see thru the smokescreen u will see that the UN means no good. for instance most of the countries that voted against the resolution have anti gay laws in place. The question is who determines what constitutes a violation? Is it the home country or the UN? For me it's just a way of getting at some of these countries. The Nigerian govt like China and SA must have read thru the bill and understood it content and possibly see thru the veil. I stand with Nigeria on this because non of us here on nairaland have read it.
There are too many laws defending the rights of humans already so this one is an effort too far. If Human rights had no laws what has the ICC and the likes been working with. This is just a way of meddling in the private affairs of sovereign nations.
as a country We have enough troubles already so they should hold their peace.
If you think Nigeria as a country should subscribe you can outline the benefits here for all to see. Let's see and know what we stand to lose. It's not enouch to shout buhari is a tyrant. Buhari is a dictator. Or worse still call me unprintable names. This is my personal opinion. If u think otherwise Pls state ur reasons.

I don't like Buhari , but I support the vote against this resolution . The US keep looking for back doors to impose their evil on other countries. We should beware , Russia and China are anti-New world order they are on the right path, the rest are led by US imposed puppets

You will always see Nigeria in the group of the weak and non-progressive nations. Our silly leaders still don't understand international diplomacy. It is a big shame. Ptui!

the heat is now on to know those behind BH,ISIS and the likes, then we have a so called human right protection that will prevent the law from catching up with them.
Seems some people don't really get it, the world is all about survival of the fittest, we are all good and bad, everyone should be treated as a friend and foe.

Good.

That is when some organizations will begin to raise needless human right alarm on countries , especially ones fighting insurgency , thereby dampening the morale of gallant troupes.
U dey mind them? China make a strong case against western propaganda. The Western world is stylishly destroying the social structures and sovereignty of other countries and China was fast enough to see through their gimicks... When America came out with their silly equal right fo1 both sex, we all failed to take note. Now it is destroying our marriage. America came out with legal status for Gays, we say no. Now this! Most people fail to see it as western propaganda. Now gay rights, animal marriage right etc will start asking to be defended... Na there madness dey start. I don talk my own... If we say no d west go use this excuse to force us to look d other way else dem go use force.

Its important to note that south africa and kenya also voted against the resolution.. Am happy that Nigeria did not follow the crowd in this situation.for them to stand out on its own sef is a sign.
Its no news that the UN is a major arm of the US and western alies... But what is actually shocking me is why Iran voted against it... Considering the Iran Nuclear deal they had with the US.

I support the decision to vote against, the UN had been a tool of the US and UK and it's NATO allies to undermine the power of government they disagree with and ultimately bring disorder to peaceful countries. In no more than a decade we have seen otherwise peaceful countries where citizens feel pride in their communities descend to hell holes in Libya and Syria and Egypt and Tunisia escaped the same faith because their respective leaders stepped down rather than stand their casuse.

The birth of ISIS is the doing of US and UK and any attempt to act as thou this fact is inconsequential is injustice to the many people who been murdered, displaced and terrorised by these animals

You are ranting sh*ts. You've got nothing meaningful to say than peddling rumor and displaying your hate for the west while you make use of all they provide for comfort. Some of your family members are even running to the west as they face troubles at home. Stop hating on those nations that are better than yours. Primitive human being!

I have no idea of what you are talking about. You need to look at yourself in the mirror and make a change. That nation is deceiving in your ignorance and primitiveness. The earlier you do that the better for you to understand what I am talking about. If you choose to remain in your barbaric state and see west as enemy you are only doing yourself no good.
