Easier said than done. As long as the cost of importing tokunbo cars is still cheaper than buying brand new made in Nigeria ones IVM is still on a long thing. |

He should advertise on tv, radio, newspapers, magazines, billboards and online, a lot of people don't even know what his cars look like. 2 Likes |

Good write up. I have always in support of local products, I was suprised and disappointed that the president met the Volkswagen representatives rather than Innoson motors rep. We are missing massive revenue generation ,economic and employment growth by ignoring Innoson motors. The government should put ethicity aside and support them. 3 Likes |

One step at a time. I believe Innoson need to have a good PR division and a simple but effective plan to make consumers choose their brand over others. Are other brands more established?.... have a proven good track record?...most definitely but when it comes to maintenance and repairs...availability of genuine parts and qualified mechanics and technicians there is a huge problem. Like OP suggested....I believe if Innoson can give buyers like free one year free bumper to bumper maintenance then buyers would go for their brand. Innoson should take a page out of Hyundai. ..see how they got so big so fast. |

MizMyColi: I don't care if it sound Igbotic, Yorubatic, Fulanitic, Ijawtic Biafratic or even Igbiratic or ijebutic, as long as it is made within the territory of Nigeria and I can identify with it being a Nigerian anyone who thinks otherwise can take a stroll on the street of Syria or in Gwoza. 2 Likes |

I had a lengthy discussion with the lady that was marketing them and I found out that there is particular organization that oversees these local manufacturers to ensure that govt policies do not kill this local industries. GEJ made a good policy on that one and Buhari is sustaining it so far. We will get there , let's keep the peace and see how our leaders even in their imperfect nature can do the little they can to push this great nation forward. 2 Likes

If I have any car that comes with anything remote, that will be the first thing I would disabled. I want to be in full control of my vehicle, if dem thief am, I will manually find the thief. The first thing I disabled on my newly installed Windows 10 was cortana, I mean what are you learning my habits for?
