Jamie vardy broke a Barclays premier league record tonight. He scored 11 goals in 11 matches , thats a feat i agree. But lets not get carried away by this feat.

This is the premier league, anybody can break records in this league,

Jamie vardy is just an average striker, who is getting lucky, really lucky.

Some people are already comparing him with lewandowski . This is very wrong,

I have watched his games this season and i have seen his goals .They are just average goals, nothing spectacular . You cant compare his goal scoring abilities with that of Lewandowski or Benzema or even Aguero

Vardy lacks pace
He is not a fast player, he is not fast with the ball in his possession, he cant even attack from the flanks, a typical example is todays match with manchester united. He was out ran by smalling.. All vardy can do is steal balls and score goals that every other No9 can score, he is just getting more chances..

He cant dribble
I have not seen a situation this season in which Vardy dribble two defenders, in fact, i have not seen him dribble at all ! Look at lewandowski, that guy can dribble 4 people at a time and still score goals. Same with Aguero , Suarez also..

Vardy is only shining because he has not been pitched against good world class defenders like David luiz, Thiago motta , Alaba, e.t.c. We all saw how Smalling outsmarted him tonight, the goal he scored was as a result of a mistake by Darmian.

Truth is, Vardy is not consistent.. Unlike the Likes of Suarez, Aguero, e.tc, their abilities will reflect even if they are pitched against three defenders.

In summary, Jamie Vardy cant score up to 20 goals this season ..He is not a world class striker, hes just another Average no9 that is getting lucky.. VERY LUCKY !

What are u even talking about? Vardy is a striker and he's delivering his team very well. How many chances do u see dat he do missed? Op stop complaining and focus on how ur team will improve. Maybe the word "Fast" has another meaning in his own "Realm".

Vardy is good. The only bad thing about him is that he relies heavily on his pace. Considering that he's 28, I guess he's at his peak because in 2 years time when he'll be 30, he'll be ineffective. Same thing happened to Michael Owen.
