SSpeter:I really don't get what is wrong with her not praying the way you pray. Let her pray the way she's comfortable with praying. at the end of the day , we're all praying to the same God, through Jesus Christ. 1 Like |

For me christianity is not a religion it is a culture, tradition and way of live. Only fools go back to a burning house after being rescued. |

I am a Muslim, my lovely wife is a Christian. We are happier than Pastor Chris Okotie and his two ex-wives, we are also happier than Pastor Chris Oyakhilome and Anita Oyakhilome who are still married purely for business purpose. We are indeed happier than Alhaji Adamu and his three wives. If you think I am lying, just look at Alhaji Bola Tinubu and Pastor Remi Tinubu. Also look at Alhaji Tunde Fashola and Dame Emmanuella Fashola. If marriage is all about religion, there wouldn't have been over 80% divorce rate in Europe and America because most of the couples are Christians. |

I'm Agnostic, and love isn't gonna change that. I can tolerate whatever my partner believes in...makes for more diversity, as far as he tolerates mine. 1 Like |

Simpleseyi, you are right, i am a muslim and my husband is a christian, we are still so much in love and we are each other's best friend. Most people deceive themselves and end up being unhappy because of religious differences. as for both of us, we didn't marry to convert each other but we love ourselves the way we are. |

Re: Would You Change Your Religion For Love? by simpleseyi: 9:26am On Dec 01, 2015 |
donTbone: On a unanimous forum like this, the truth and nothing but the truth wont cost me anything. If you cannot say the truth on a unanimous forum then you can never say the truth anywhere. Marriage as an institution has been existing before religion, so religion should not define marriage, if at all any one of the two should define the other, then marriage should define religion and not religion defining marriage. I am Muslim today, but we all know that I may become a Christian tomorrow, afterall many Muslims have converted. If I reject love for the sake of religion, what happens when I convert to the religion I once rejected. 2 Likes |

kimond101: Actually sir, I was born into the muslim family but I have problems with Religion (both Christianity and Islam) and whenever I try to be strong in my faith, my curiosity, skepticism makes me disbelieve all these religions as a agent of chaos and confusion in this world. Bro, it is a long story. But it'll take a miracle before one can make me start practicing a faith religiously. I have no problem with what my kids decide to choose. In my family, there are christians and muslims. I have male and female relatives who have turned from Christians to Muslims and vice versa. I believe that'll explain my indifference towards choice of religion. we are an open family that embrace any faith. celebrates sallah, christmas etc. If she doesnt become a Muslim when we marry, no problem. Love overrules everything sir. |

We need to find common ground... Mayb become an atheist n then later choose 4rm objective perspective which religion 2 follow.... Bt if I luv her I'd stick with her until I can't stick anymore coz d religous barrier will bore hole in d relationship n it will spread lik depletion of Ozone layer. |
