If you're truly from Bayelsa state, you'll notice that Dickson is not loved by the people especially with his infamous rule. Like TonyeBarcanista rightly said, The things that will favour is him Bayelsans being on a revenge mission with APC ( but that can still be changed with money). Silva not really loved by the ppl. Honestly both candidates are not really good but may the best man win (and I pray PDP wins it)

Saw that on Channels TV 2 days ago but I don't know about the joining APC aspect, but he submitted his resignation letter. It's surely not a good sign. Thing is I never believed the APC can put up such showing in Bayelsa. This has been the case since the general elections. Let's not mince words here, Jonathan is not that loved by his own people and I think this has to do with his time as governor. He must have disappointed them a lot. We are talking about a state with just 8 local governments that receives such huge amounts of allocations. Yenogoa is just like a street in Lagos.

Truly, Jonathan isn't a factor in Bayelsa Politics but sympathy for Jonathan(emotion) is Dickson's lifeline along with his relative popularity. One on one(no PDP, no APC), Sylva will dust Dickson in a 60% to 40% performance. But the emotional advantage will swing to Dickson, just like what Wike had(and still having)
