By JUMI RHODES The Chinese President Xi Jinping has informed President Buhari of the willingness of his country to finance the whole project of the Mambilla Power Station through a special loan agreement. President Buhari had indicated to Xi Jinping at a bilateral meeting in New York that he wanted China to re-commence stalled rail projects under new terms that would see China providing nearly all the financing required. It was at this meeting Buhari also discussed ways of removing all obstacles in the way of the 3,050 MW Mambila Power Station. Mambilla Power Station, one of Africa's (and Nigeria's) biggest dam projects, is a projected hydro power plant which will be connected to three dams across the Donga River in Taraba State. Conceived in 1982, the main Mambilla Dam is a large rolled compact concrete dam and reservoir at 1,300 metres (4,300 ft) above sea level. http://dawntodusknews.com/china-to-finance-nigerias-abandoned-33-year-old-electricity-project/ 12 Likes 3 Shares

Sooner or latter, all the "scattered dots" will be connected and the full picture will become obvious even to the blind. Discerning minds know that the president is busy making strategic int'l alliances for full onslaught on Terrorism, Corruption and Foreign Direct Investments. 185 Likes 9 Shares |

Dividends of PMB's foreign trip. Unpatriotic wailers won't like this. They keep criticising the presidents trip just to distract him from achieving great feats for the country. But the good thing is, Baba can't be distracted. Benefits of his foreign trips will start trickling in and wailers will be put to shame. 87 Likes 3 Shares |

It is needful but the total restructuring of the system of Governance is much more needful. Building house on the solid rock is more safer than building house on a sinking sand. 1 Like |
