No one is preventing Yoruba from owning a plot of land in the east. Its their belief that east has nothing to offer so they don't bother even going there no to talk of having property there. OPC pls kill Igbo's when they come to ur land for a peaceful protest, you will just be making their work easier. Pls commit a crime against humanity towards them. Funny pple. 4 Likes |

aminaadamu:why are u comparing A with Z? I know there are other corrupt people asides Madueke and Dasuki, its politics At play-their current freedom and it would av happened the other way round if the current opposition were in power.....Im not in support of that kinds politics but that's the way it is all over the globe. BUT we all know Dasuki, Madueke and others currently being quizzed and 'embarrassed' by the current government aren't innocent....so it's not a case of just witch hunting...a yoruba adage is translated in English thus, ' if there are no cracks in a wall, lizards won't ever get into it'....if those 2 and the others weren't corrupt, no one would av been able to bring up unfounded claims leading to their arrest/prosecution.... As for Kanu, he knows how treacherous it is to threaten the sovereignty of a nation... therefore he's not clean though I hope he's released as I'm sure he knows better now deep within him. |

AshiwajuFoward: dont help support the misguided IPOB argument. anyone can live anywhere. I am not Igbo but i am also not from Lagos and by the constitution of Nigeria, i have a right to live anywhere and i am also compelled to pay my taxes to Lagos and not my state of origin. in fact after 10 yrs of paying taxes, i can even contest (winning is a different thing) as lagos governor. if you disagree (athough they are facts) with any of the above statements then you help the IPOB argument. This present IPOB protest is so misguided and delusional. the problem is because of a lack of education in the country, this thing can degenrate into something very ugly and truth be told, the IPOB people will be worse off. they dont even have up to 60% support amongst their kinsmen. their struggle (at least he way they want to go about it) is diffcult to justify. Nnamd Kanu has been made so popular that if he is ever discharged wihout conviction, he would easily win an election in any of the south east states. 2 Likes |

Ngwaukwu1: I agree with you, I wonder why lagos was made the last port of call, I'm sure that the protest in lagos cannot last a week and it if becomes un-peaceful and properties are being destroyed then that's where the problem would lie. It's going to be a peaceful protest, with one or two mishaps if they a conduct themselves well. They can't risk a calamity in lagos especially if it's by them. Abuja, onitsha, lagos, hin remain borno or adamawa or kano. |

From my own observation and travelling /living within North/SS/SW Nigeria and across Europe, Asia pacific and briefly in the State, I can say without mincing words, an average Ibo person does not see his or her self as a Nigerian. They may claim one Nigeria by word of mouth but deep down an Ibo person put more allegiance of being ibo than a Nigerian. My own verdict |

Ayt27:they dont have their Biafran (yet). they pay their taxes to Nigeria and are governed by the laws of the Nigerian State. so they should enjoy the priviledges of a Nigerian. IPOB protesters are terribly delusional sha. a third dont know why they are protesting, another third are bitter about GEJ lose. the last third actually want out of the country. so the truth is that even if a referendum was done if Igbos want to stay in Nigeria, you will definitely not get a 2/3rds majority. |
