Hmm, CV based SL awaiting schedule interview actually implied that u have a little experience based on ur CV. You may not be require to write test,so u have to start preparing for an interview that will be schedule anytime soonll.

I applied for management trainee and human resource management position. My application status is 'under review' please I need to know what this implies. The thing is, my status never changed from "under review" even after the psychometric test, pomzy, ksstroud, Abdujapha and any other person should check theirs pls wanna know of I'm the only one having this ish.

Bro, do not be disturbed... Take this from me, even the HR peeps can't give any affirmation regarding the recruitment for now... The refinery personnel structure has not gotten the Group Board touches (I hope you understand) The state we are now, anything can happen either at shortest or delayed un-ascertained time. It is just a matter of approval or disapproval... But be 90% sure that being a partaker of the psychometric test, the offer will locate US with the favor of God.

For application status, that's how it is for everybody even those that didn't get call for psychometric test up till now. I think it's been there since we successfully applied back as at August then, and so it is for those that recently applied.

Okay let me share this
I did the test, group discussion, interview and psychometric test. While i was patiently waiting for the offer letter, I got a mail on tuesday to come for an interview on Friday. I was worried coz I had done that before and believe U me, it was hell an interview (coz I was among the first set that did the first day - THE LAB RATS). well, I thought to myself, "maybe they want me to redo the interview". I went there yesterday. We were 10 in number. I was the last to be interviewed. Now out of the other 9,only one did that test, a petroleum Engr. Others ddnt; some even said they couldnt remember applying to Dangote sef. Well my interview went very very very well (was happy I answered all d questions well). There were two Indians but not the ones that interviewed me the other time. One of us was told they have no vacancy for her because of her course of study and lack of Relevant experience. Believe me, the peeps in the HR department may not even have details or info about the offer mail. But whatever happens, I believe it will surely come. Let's just be patient.

Nawa ooooo how many people dangote sef want even take sef? Some pallies kept pinging me to say they just went for dangote interview at ikoyi!!! Nawa oooo I just hope they don't bring scam technique into all this masive and secretive interview!!! Dear lord have mercy on us all (the hopeful souls)

My application status states the same, and I've got about 2 years experience.

d interview is simply strait from ur CV... be able to explain wat eva u put in ur CV. I have also 2years + experience so I believe Dangote is looking g for people dey will train eventually. so in summary d interview is strictly ur CV based.

Pls I will like to confirm if immediately after applying, it reads application under review and was later changed to cleared and scheduling for interview or it reads the later from the time of application.

@eazichris are U sure of what U are saying? My first and 2nd interviews were technical and not competency based as U are claiming. I am a Chemical Engineer so d questions were on Thermodynamics, design, distillation, refrigeration. It's more of technical than competency based interview ooooo coz it's done by two Indians. They have no time for normal competency based questions. My opinion though

@bukkyche please did u write aptitude test? if yes I should agree with ur interview format. as for me I did not write apt test.. and my 1st interview is quite different from wat u described above.. let's just say dey are interviewing some people based on experience and others as entry level especially those DAT don't have any experience at all.

It was later changed from application under review to CV Cleared SL based, awaiting scheduling interview

The bottom line is, be it 1, 2 or 3 interview(s) you've had, we are all waiting for offer letters.
My advice, Be not Afraid but Believe. Follow up on other dreams, apply for other jobs and when Dangote is ready they will get across. Happy Sunday!

I applied for the August opening of Executive Trainee but wasn't invited for the test, infact the application still reads "application under review" I later applied for the November Executive Trainee Refinery, now the application reads "CV Based SL Cleared and Waiting for Scheduling Interview".
I'm about rounding up my Msc, I've never had a real technical work experience, say for the ones at Mosinmi NNPC Depot as a REP for a filling station (300L SIWES), Operations Supervisor at Water Works Corporation (400L I.T) and other few ones? Could those have guaranteed Interview? and what should I expect based on the few of my experiences I listed?
Should I also state that I recently had a MOOC course organized by French Institute of Petroleum IFP (with total) which was on Oil and Gas exploration, production, refining, logistics of oil and gas, petrochemicals etc. Could questions be drawn from that also?
