At times I wonder how some people can be so jealous and envious. Is it your money that the bishop will use to build the Faith theater? OK, you people that are telling him where to channel the money who tells you where to channel your own money? Your money your business, Church/God's money Church/God's business. Living Faith church has over 20,000 employees in Nigeria which they pay handsomely every month. How many employees does federal government of Nigeria has? You people should hold your buhari responsible for youth unemployment not the Bishop. 2 Likes |

Gamesmart: Guy, when Winners Chapel Canaanland Otta was built, the whole area at that time was like a forest. It was totally isolated and on the outskirts of town. It was the building of the church, that led to an influx of residents into that part of town. Many of those who came in contact with the church then, acquired land and built their own properties, while small scale businesses sprang up and gradually the whole place became vibrant, due to the influx of worshippers and business men who took advantage of the large crowd to offer goods and services that were needed. If you have ever visited the place, you would realise that it has huge car parks and multiple entry and exit points that stretch in different directions. And that has been the same pattern for most of the mega-churches that you see in Nigeria today. Who heard of Mowe before RCCG Redeemed Camp was built there? Today, that former sleepy village has developed into a bustling town. Try and buy land there now, and see how much it would cost you. Again, the RCCG camp has several entry and exit points dotted all around the expanse of the church. It is actually a mini-city on its own. The same thing that occurred in Mowe with the coming of RCCG Redeemed Camp also happened with Ibafo. The coming of Mountain of Fire and Miracles (MFM) Church transformed that large bushy area into a commercial and residential hub. You can also see the same pattern with universities. Anywhere you see new universities and/or mega churches being set up...watch out. The next thing you see is a rapid pace of development of the area, which often occurs in a way that defies description. So no matter how isolated an area is, it would eventually become a hub of activities and a bustling addition to the town because of the influx of worshippers and ultimately businesses, that follow such establishments. 2 Likes 1 Share |

atinukedam: If we have 100,000 coming for a program and each gives N100 each. That's a cool N10m let's say it's for 3days and 3 sets per day. Do the maths. That's around N90m. Note, I just said N100 oooo. Some mumu will carry all their salary there ooo. Some steals just to pay tithe and offering oooo. In the Bible times, Abraham paid tithe first. How many times did he pay it all his life? And abeg ooo, the tithe the Israelites paid, is it MONEY? |

BodyKiss: Obviously, you have never attended Shiloh. If you have, you would have realised from the multitude of testimonies given by the worshippers, that many of them have encountered the prosperity and breakthroughs they have been seeking. In appreciation, they often come back to give not just thanksgiving and testimonies, but also offerings to express their gratitude for all they have received. If you are in doubt about the prosperity of many of his members, just visit the car parks in the church on a Sunday and count the number of SUVs there. May you never encounter a challenge greater than your capacity, that will cause you to run from pillar to post seeking solutions. If you realise what the teachings and prayers of this Pastor has done, in helping people overcome their problems, then you would understand why many folks still flock there, every Sunday. Please look, listen and learn my brother. Peace. 1 Like |

nextstep: That is totally untrue!! Have you ever been part of any project in that church?? More than 80% of materials, men and resources used at any point in time, are locally sourced. All labour is 100% local personnel. So where did you draw your erroneous impressions from?? |

CeterisXVII:See, counting the numbers of SUVs. Is that what this is all about? Pls, since when have U been attending shiloh (Make your research, God left shiloh a very long time ago, I wonder why it's still relevant.) Where is your own SUV? AND WHAT CAN YOU SAY ABOUT THE ILLUMINATI SIGNS SHOWN BY GOOGLE EARTH? coincidence, right? I pity you. You better get out of her now says the book of Revelations. 1 Like |

sobmos: And who tells you that the church does not support some of its members with funds who are found to be homeless? Do you even know the numerous programmes that the church carries out, which they never make noise about?? If all churches build homes for the homeless, then what would your own elected government be doing after collecting all your taxes? Those are the people you should direct your criticisms to, since that is part of the duties they should fulfil to those who elected them into power. The church tries its own little bit, based on the resources it has but it is not a state or federal govt. Hold your elected leaders accountable for failure to provide affordable accommodation for the homeless citizens of its state! |
Re: Winners Chapel To Build A 100,000 Capacity Stadium-like Church. (photos) by CeterisXVII: 12:02am On Dec 13, 2015 |
Maximus85: Yes, counting SUVs owned by worshippers in a church's car park, can be used as an index to measure a percentage of the prosperity that the worshippers who own such things have experienced. Or do poor homeless destitutes own SUVs? Anyway, while I do not support crass materialism, my post was made in response to BodyKiss' comments, where he said that "...the majority of his church members are busy papaing him, going to shiloh Year in, year out seeking for prosperity that never seem to be in-sight." He was trying to portray the church as a powerless site, where prayers are never answered. Hence, my response to him. It was meant to be a tongue-in-cheek rejoinder. Hope you can grasp the context now? Are you God, to know if He has departed from Shiloh or not? And if God left Shiloh a long time ago, how come many people are still experiencing turn-arounds in their situations and breakthroughs which they keep testifying about at every Shiloh gathering in Canaanland, Otta? Finally, which Illuminati signs are shown by Google Earth? And what do such signs have to do with Winners' Chapel?? Chai! The rate at which some of you supposedly enlightened or educated folks, swallow propaganda and recycle it as fact, is appalling! may God deliver you from falling into error! |

TheMascot: So it's no more Dasuki that is the cause of all the happenings in the country now but Oyedepo,.. I never knew that... If he does you say is PR stunts if he keeps silent you say he is not friendly and now he builds a shelter from the rains and hot sun for the church members and you say he is not providing employment opportunities... Better face your front and mind your business in Nigeria politics and leave the church out of it for your misfortunes 2 Likes |

TheMascot: Guy, it shows that you do not read newspapers or listen to NTA Network news. Many churches have given out food, clothes etc., to internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) and victims of Boko Haram. Do your research before making such comments. In fact, when the bombings first started in the North, many of those who lost their homes initially took refuge in churches before the BH terrorists started attacking churches too, and setting them on fire. |
