I don't understand why people place much importance on something as inconsequential as likes and followers on Instagram?

What would the amount of likes you garner or the number of followers you have profit you in the grand scheme of things?

If it was a lady that created this thread, I wouldn't be surprised, cause naturally, most ladies tend to be vain, but for a guy to create this kind of thread, then something is definitely wrong somewhere.

You don't have to blame him, it depends on what you use instagram for. I prefer to have 100,0000 Nigeria instagram followers than to be given #100,000 right now, because I need more people to see what I do. Am a photographer, that's what I do for a living. Most people have photographed, I met them through IG and Facebook, so I'll be dropping mine here @lukman_ayinde, maybe somebody on nairaland might need my services one of this days.
