So for anyone in my "bank shoes" but need to make a purchase on amazon... N239/$1 is a give-away.

Well, I don't knw abt UBA but let me share my GTB experience with u so u can have an idea what might happen. The price of the Gift card I purchased was $300 but I chose the option to pay in Naira which amazon calculated to become N62,400. (N208/$1). After I paid, I got a text from GTB saying "The Naira equivalent of $275 has been authorised on ur account". (The gift card was worth $300 so I was surprised at the $275 quoted by GTB. I figured they converted the N62,400 displayed by amazon at a rate of N227/$1.) Then Lo and Behold, I got a debit alert of N68,750. Which means that the $275 was multiplied by N250! Well, the bottomline is that choosing the "pay in Naira" option actually helped, otherwise it would have been $300 × N250 = N75,000.

Just take the price of payment work into any first bank and request for form A. And your payment will be processed with 48Hours.

The rate is N197 / $1 for form A.

I know some foreign schools use PayPal part payment or western union check if yours accept it.

Also check if your school accepts MasterCard then pay through MasterCard, as R7000 is just $465 - $468. Stanbic ATM or Access or FirstBank can process that amount.
