AbuMaryam1: there is a reason why most of us who can afford to use foreign will not want to use made in nigeria goods. Apparently there seems to be an urgent and dangerous lack of quality with respect to goods made in Nigeria. There is generally a a complete conondrum and lack of direction with respect developing our made in nigeria goods to meet international standards or even conform to a a so called nation standard i.e. SON. This lack of quality seems to be a contagious quality going as far as spreading across the mindsets of my fellow country men. I am not a mad person and will not tolerate or accept an inferior life using inferior goods living in an inferior country run by inferior minds listening to inferior thinking. If you want to live that kind of life please feel free to live and voice your opinions, but please take note, we dont all share in your excessive enthusiasm to live and die of foolish and unneccessary hardships caused by the greed and advanced stupidity of our leaders. Thank you........ 2 Likes |

bayulll01: Foreign Cards work in some places such as intercontinental hotel, and places frequently visited by foreigners. It's not a 'foreign bank' problem it's an acceptance problem. Our pos are configured to run in naira for instance my friend came and ate here for N300 and it charged her bank as $300 so many pos here in Nigeria automatically blocks $ transaction as the back end cannot do the conversion. Has nothing to do with charges but more to do with inter switch and their configuration. Visa and MasterCard staff have staff who are working full time on acceptance to rectify this although they are meeting resistance from interswitch You can meet any epayment practitioner in the banks or a staff at MasterCard or visa to enlighten you properly |

fxbot: He said if you bring your international card here and try to make payment in naira it won't work because these foreign banks don't want to pay charges. Just refuting that, cuz it's not true. It works in places were the merchants have gone out of their way to give them pos deliberately configured to accept international cards |

Someone people here though went to school but are very funny human,I won't say they are silly, the truth of the matter gej and his co criminals has finished this nations, they loot, loot and looted our next generation unborn, this is just the chain reactions of corrruptions that has finished this nations. @akin rightly pointed out, when oil was sold above 140per barrel,we discover that our money is always looted by gej and his uselesssss group. Have you ever wonder why there was no development,no idea,no creativity,no infrastructures, all these money has been looted and stashed in foreign account. The banks are worst they support corruptions, they will give senators loans but will ask for collateral from young graduate farmer, let baba finished with them. My advice to bubu, provide the basic amenities, solve the fuel issues, power and let there be food, and jail all those criminals 4 Likes |

eroticboy:Uncle, if we didnt patronize how our manufacturers would conform with SON? At least we have to buy to boost their morale and makes them competitive. You have forgotten our attitudes towards local products create a vacuumed with the so called international standard. My point let's appreciate the effort of our industries and participate morally and economically they will prosper one day. The government of the day is determined to revert this country to the path of glory considering what's on the ground. Most of these initiation are made by previous govt, but because of the political implication they felt to implement them. Let's tell ourselves the truth these are policies designed to make Nigeria project work , they're very difficult , but approaching them is the best thing to do. 1 Like |
