Don't mind the lady, bro, believe me, 'Wentworth' is worth it. It's much more darker than the OITNB and more thrilling, also more realistic. Did I mentioned it has one of the best female villains on Television? Ferguson would send chills down your spine!

Wentworth is dynamic, explosive and completely unpredictable. If you love quality television, you'll love this hit drama from the 'down under'.

What made Wentworth interesting is it's very broad theme. In fact, much broader than that of OITNB in the sense that everybody on screen has a role to play. We get to know the Prison officers and inmates more intimately, what drives them, why they ended up in prison, etc.

Wentworth is very dynamic, and very dark drama, IMHO, in the same league as 'Breaking Bad' and 'OZ' kind of dark, perhaps.

yeah, the storyline is good! plus, I kinda like watching lesbian sex scenes /relationships, helps me get a glimpse of what goes on in their world. I basically liked sense8 cos of Naomi and her gf!

I watched the L- world like 2 years ago so I can't remember the casts but my favorites were :
The girl that went into movie directing/acting after writing a book. Her struggles after she ran away from home, being able to manipulate the old , rich movie producer to sponsor her movie and make her a director too.

The carefree make up artist( Alex?) . She/he was never able to stay faithful to any of her/ his partners.

The radio presenter and her military boyfriend.

What's the name of the couple that had a child again? Mommy Bee and teacher? I disliked the fat one( the one that birthed the child) cos she appeared to be manipulating her partner, plus she could switch from straight to bisexual as long as there's something in it for her.

koice wentworth is good but not at the level you put it,OITNB has more chemistry among d characters,more humour,very believable story too,i wish i could get back the time i spent watching the 3 seasons of wentworth,even the lesbian prison thingy was mostly absent,they kept beating around the bush

I love OITNB, but calling the comedy series realistic is laughable. Besides, it kinda glorifies women life in prison, and hid all the disgusting parts in humor. Not so with Wentworth. The longest running theme of Wentworth is thus: Women prison can be a very dangerous place, and can either make or break an inmate.

Not everyone can understand Wentworth, but I do, and a lot of like-mind individuals all agree with me that Wentworth is the better drama - more grit, more character, more depth.

So he is released having being in prison since he was 18.Now he must adjust to life that has changed over 20 years ago since he last experienced it. A step father, a step son, a junior brother who is now a teenager, the mother of the deceased, the brother of the deceased whose life has been affected as well as the stigma of the towns people.
Best part is, he probably did not commit the crime, cause the only person who testified against him, well watch the movie and find out what happened to him.

Bee was Tina's ex right? She later dated the lady with speech disability? Then ofcourse Bee had a sister with an older soon who never approved LBGT relationships. Lol Bee's sister also dated their male nanny.

So many characters in that movie. One of them at a time was raising a boy and was good at that. I honestly didn't focus on their sex life as the movie was more than that, IMO.
