zenith, diamond, GTB and first bank works here, tested by me. So I believe others do.

U was able to use my card abt 2weeks ago as well but dis was wat a friend got after mailing them.

However the card can still be used on POS,online and outside Africa on POS, ATM and online . Please note that our Dollar cards are not affected by this change and can still be used in African countries and at international locations.

Nope, you can't use Diamond, as for Firstbank I will have to test my card to confirm.

Pls, house an offer came to my friend a Ghanaian salary Dh1700 + accommodation + transport, free zone they said no to exit b4 getting employment visa. Meaning he can change anytime.
But the pay to get it is Dh3000 including medical and visa.


He needs my advice but I want to get it from here.

I can't really say, but the person agreed to enter into agreement with his residents visa/permit with the Ghanaian relation who also has the same residents visa. And first payment is Dh1500 and he will do medical and move to the company to start.

Is their any other thing the Ghanaian should ask for?
Or how else should he know if the man is legit?

dats for now, used my diamond card wen I came in. But I understand it's now a general problem. That naira debit cards can't be used outside Nigeria. Some banks have started the restriction while some are waiting for the January 2016 date.

what I mean is this; I have a domicilary account with gtbank which includes of Euro acct,pound,dollar,current and saving account and I have one gtbank naira master card which I normally withdraw with while in Nigeria.but I came in here in Dubai trying to withdraw money but it could not because the money i want to withdraw is in my savings account whi le the Euro account displays when trying to do so and no cash in the Euro account.

Hi, I've been reading the entire post of this part 2 to know which approach to use, whether to look for direct employment or get a 3months tourist Visa. From all the comments here i'm still weighing the pros and con's.

Follow Nairalanders, My brother left for dubai with a tourist Visa of 3months valid (Nov 2015- till 28 jan 2016) Hoping to get a job and Visa extension as he was promised by an Old friend of his who resides there. On getting to dubai, all the dude said was all lies , he initially told my brother that he has business in dubai where he sells shoe nd that he works with a company nd the company needs workers. In fact, the first day my brother got to dubai , the dude along side his friends collected his BTa in the name of house rent. That made my dad send a little money to him. Right now my Brother is with another guy who works in Dubai with his PHD. Who has been helping him in looking for a job. My brother is an Arch welder with a professional certificate. His tourist Visa will expire 28, jan 2015.. Pls my brothers, I hav been restless, same with my family. If u have an advice, is surely welcome. God bless us all.

Question is my professional certificate has expiry date on it which was 2013,do I have a chance if I apply here or get visa and apply in Dubai

What customer care certificate can I do in Dubai within 3months to support my earlier certification because the training I got to get the cert was world class.
