@missmalachi....how u doing ma'am.....Nd how's d holiday....Pls I have a question to ask u regarding d graco baby cot u posted sometimes ago....how durable is it ...Nd how soon will baby outgrown it....any challenges so far....sorry for my plenty kwesions o...trying to c if I can get d 2in1 type for my babies.....I love it's portability...it won't really take space in d room...or can any one suggest a good crib for twins....how do I go about it!!!!

Good day sweet mums n mums to be. Please what can I take to build up my pcv before delivery. Am 31 weeks along and my pcv dropped from 33% to 28%. I will like to build it up to avoid any blood related issues. Thank u for Ur time.

HB12 blood syrup helped me a lot cos I had similar pcv dropping when I was preggie. Also ate lots of green vegetables.

My sister, I also work in Lagos but not on the island. So I don't know close hospitals to your area o.

This blood donation thing didn't make me register too the first time. I did ante natal each time I visited hubby. He doesn't live in Lagos too. This second time too I have identified a Catholic hospital around Ogba.

Thanks for this sis. guess il have to go to ondo state mother and child by weekend. please, do you have an idea on what test they might ask me to do and how much it cost?

Finally got the perfect antidote for my ms. Woohoooo! I'm so happy. Ever since my dr prescribed B6, my nausea has completely disappeared. I can now drink tons of water without vomiting, so no more dehydration. You need to see the way i drink water now as if person wan snatch am from my hand.
I no longer wake up feeling weak. I haven't even felt the urge to throw up at all. Maybe its partly because i'm approaching my 12th week. Thank Jehovah o.
I'm wondering why dr didn't give me this drug all this while i was suffering.
Patiently waiting for my apetite to return and the food aversion to stop.

Okay, my problem is that I am 14 weeks preg now and looking out for hospital to register with. My workplace is very close to Lagos Island Maternity but I heard that hubby needs to donate blood before i can register for antenatal and hubby is not in Lagos.

Please can you suggest close-by private hospital where hubby won't need to donate blood? and the procedures please.

NB.
1. My mondays - fridays is always at work...but I can go to see doc during breaktime or weekends which is why I need a close-by hospital.
2. Might eventually leave Lagos but I need to undergo the so-called pregnancy screening and test...which is mainly why i need to register with a hospital now. cool

Please help a neighbour.... kiss

I used Reddington in vi but it's very pricey if you intend paying out of pocket

Please if you have lots of discomfort during the pregnancy, you might really need to register in Lagos o. You can't be going to Ondo every weekend o.

For the tests..... Roughly 5k-10k for the first set of registration and consultation, drugs and tests probably.

If you are a first time mum: Genotype, blood group, TT (anti tetanus vaccine), scan, urinalysis, HIV, Hepatitis .... I think these are the basic tests and examination.

Other mums please help out if I have missed anything.

same goes for my bae but she doesnt take Milo. She eats adult food well, infact if she sees a plate of rice or moimoi or beans, she immediately stop sucking. She s 7months today

When they start winning National and International awards..we would have forgotten all these stress completely.

I am so so grateful. Thanks so much. I will definitely do the above. I had the intention of switching to Nido once he is one year though.

So sorry dear. The hospital i use is Vigor hospital at Abijo, close to Ajah. The obgyn Dr Clem is very very good. Almost all the mamas i know use him. He doesnt ask for blood donation or do blood transfusion. Antenatal days are Wednesdays.
St Nicholas hospital at Obalende is also very good and it should be closer to you. Heard the doctors there are professionals

So sorry you didn't get a response on time. It's not because you are new here. Don't think that way, we are one family.

I would have love to respond but I had to pass because I live and work on the mainland so I don't really know that side wella.

I registered in a general hospital too but I couldn't donate blood because hubby is far away. I paid 6k for it ( back door things) so if you are still interested in registering with Island Maternity, they take back door money too. I was actually there and I was told it's 5k before I transferred to MCC Gbaja because it's closer to where I stay.

You can't use break time to attend ANC in general hospitals. They take almost the whole day. Maybe you should just look for a private clinic.

Island mothers, come and attend to her. Biko!
By the way, have you paid your dues?

My boy has stopped eating adult food except for fish, egg and meat. We are back to only pap. He doesn't like cerelac again.
