The situation now is dire and weird. Is this the change we wanted? Certainly not! I wonder how the 500000 teachers will be selected and paid if a paltry amount of interns can't be paid a meager stipend as and when due. Rubbish government! 1 Like |

Graduate Internship Scheme 19 mins ยท Dear Interns payments have commenced. It would come in phases, October and backlogs,November & backlogs then December. We are sorry for the delay. Those whose backlogs were not captured during these months,should indicate through our emails info@gisurep.gov.ng or post it on facebook. Kindly report none receipt of payments. bgates:Bros, abeg leave me make I vex. Before I think say this government sabi wetin im dey do but e be like say na 419 dem be. Dem dey quick to pronounce wetin dem no go do or deny later. Come to think of it, wetin sef hold dis money? GIS don join Federal Ministry of Finance fully and the civil servants wey dey work for that ministry don collect their salaries. Wetin come hold our own since say we too na interns of that ministry. You no see say wayo dey there. Every day we go hear say dem go pay and at the end we no go see anything as alert. May dem no try dis rubbish next year; if dem wan do am make dey stop the GIS and find something permanent give pesin. 1 Like |

Guys I want us all to know dat we are too enlightened for this govt to mess with us. For Christ sake we are graduates and we have kept quiet for long on dis paltry stipend. My candid advice is dat we bombard d Presidential media chat tonight with our tweets and demand for 3 months payment plus our training allowances. For those of us that are just observing the chat group, u all have to join d fight in tweeting. Enough of sitting on fence and watching! We to unite as graduates that have been taken for granted and demand for what is ours. Now I don't care if they pay d October stipend today but we must not relent on tweeting till our outstanding stipends and allowances are paid. follow me @ PaulOkayim 2 Likes |

IMABEN:Please state which one among the Nigeria forces? I'm familiar with the NCS, NPF, NSCDC they've all gotten their October and November. I dont know of their December. Please let's be sure of the information we post here. |

somebody just phoned a friend of mine, that he send his a/c details n GI code and that he should inform his other friends and colleagues to do same. Isn't that looking like a scam. and the call was made after 6pm when almost all works are closed for the day |
