Good day, please I want this question to be clarified to me and others that can learn from it; if I filled my DS160 form sometimes around March and I was denial, will it reflect my former information if I re-applied again around December? I will be grateful to hear from you soonest. Thanks.

I used GTB master card on the 21st of this month (December) and I was charged #8,099.85 for 30dollars. (You may want to do the math yourself grin)
I get far cheaper rates with my FCMB card.

What That's approximately N270/$1. That's crazy!!!

Good evening house. I have been been following this tred for some time now, but I never commented until now. My visa was approved yesterday and I felt it will be most ungrateful of me not to tell the house, because I learnt so much from this forum. My interview was short with no documents asked. It was just God as I was the first person to be granted by the man.

Congratulations on your achievement
Not an easy feat...

I believe Engineering, Physics & Math are the most difficult in any University in the United States. Don't really know why Nursing students believe their courses are the most difficult...

Just by taking the prerequisites such as differential Calculus, Integral Calculus, Multivariable Calculus and Differential Equations then you will understand what Engineering students pass through...

Bros you think engineering is difficult? lol. Come to computer science.

Thanks bro. I'm officially a Master's graduate of the University of Maryland College Park. It is quite a prestigious thing to be graduating from one of the top 25 engineering schools in the United States. My joy knew no bounds when my name was called on the stage, shook hands with the dean, and handed over my 'certificate'. cheesy Well, 'certificate' as in you're given a fake one sort of but the original one gets mailed to your address about 2 months after graduation, the way it is done here.

I guess Fall/December is a good time to graduate as the joy of graduation also coincides with the christmas celebration. smiley

Congrats boss.

I was in the US Embassy today and heard a lot of you students during your interviews..... Was not shocked that most were denied because a lot of them were scared and either forgot their recited answers or sounded too much like machines that they knew you had recited it....

Best advice: relax, talk and say the truth.... You don't need to cram, Consular officers are humans too.... And please show you're serious about schooling by applying to more than one university

I was expecting an interview transcript na Abi u go clean vo window grin... Lol Hwfa

Bros i was also at the mall some days ago. That mall is "MASSIVE" - four floors with over 500 stores!!!, an indoor roller coaster and an underwater observatory . The malls @ Ikeja and Lekki combined are puny in comparison. If you are in Minnesotta or ever visit this state, please visit the mall of america. Trust me, you wont regret it. There's a downside to visiting such places though. You get to think of your country and wonder why even in the midst of our wealth, we never get it right. cry cry One day, one day, E go better o.

Bros waka well you will find something that fits your budget. Every store is doing an end of year sale at the mall right now. Check out old navy or aeropostale, you might get some really good deals there. Thing is, before you leave for the mall, go online and checkout each individual stores to see what deals they have. Most times, the stores offer better deals than what you see online.

Just let it slide.

Did I sign an agreement with anybody to always respond to people's email on Nairaland even when I'm busy and couldn't read such mails on time? What about those that I replied their emails even late at night to ensure they're successful?

In as much as we're here to help, nobody has the right to tell me how to use my email.

I have life off Nairaland.

Two side notes here: I was at the Lagos embassy yesterday. I've never seen a more organized set of Nigerians before, queuing quietly and waiting their turn without haggling anybody. It's amazing how our people suddenly behave when at the mercy of a visa.

I heard at least two people get denied because they had fake stamps in their passports. WTF!!? You think America will not know?
