I can only speak for first bank. According to my branch manager, the master naira cards are not working anymore in a few west african countries but the master naira card still works fine in US. There haven't been instructed yet. You should have a back up plan just in case they decide to stop them from being used in the US.

You don't know, I don't know but only the VO and God know. One of the reasons for denial is why u were unable to give cogent reasons for choosing your school. Another reason may be if u can't prove enough home ties like social, future career financial and tendency to return after your study. I think you should be able to give more why you were denied but you should also have enough reason why you choose that school...

check your email, you should see a letter from FirstBank. FirstBank has officially banned the use of Naira ATM Cards. Zenith Bank is left, I called them today, and they said they haven't announced it officially, yet.
