Good evening Doc. God bls u for all u've been doing. I have been experiencing incessant headaches for some time now. Been advised to; reduce the rate at which i make use of phones and laptops, reduce d length at which i read, have enough rest. Taken all these steps so far and even make use of dark shades when the need arises for me to use the gadgets. Done malaria, typhoid and eye tests but d results show that i'm okay. Pls, i need your advise and help. Sent you a PM already. Taken lots of prescribed drugs including some i later found unfit for the ailment. SAVE A LIFE. Expecting your swift response

iamumason: how old are you sir? you mentioned briefs as in male underwear? Anyway, do you find yourself wetting with cough, or laugh or if you bear down or what worsens the trickle? Or There is stress incontinence, urge incontinence and other kinds. How is your health in general? Any symptoms? Do you feel you urinate a lot more or?

dovebreed: do you have a doctor? That boil needs to be (1) sliced open and drained out well, cleaned out (2) you need antibiotics (3) after 1,2 has been done, you need to keep the area hygienic to avoid getting boils there. Possibly wash with anti staph body wash.

excellergroup: let me respond to your email then.

habib55: he needs to get an ECG to check his heart rhythm. Does he take caffeinated beverages etc? Any medications? How old is this person?

freshkid144: what are your symptoms dear that makes you think it's tyhoid?

mzpumpkin306: she needs antibiotics for possible STD

dazzle86: your pelvic/uterine adhesions will normally present itself as chronic pelvic pain, difficulty getting pregnant and carrying to term, possibly interfere with normal menses if extensive. Uterine adhesions can diagnosed via laparascopy or hysteroscopy is the gold standard. can also do hysterosalpingogram HSG.. you can also do pelvic ultrasound. But, ultrasound is just to measure thickeness or extent or adhesions. But, hysteroscopy is better because it is both diagnostic and therapeutic.

Bin3: how can I help you.

Hello dr please i want to know if having sex everyday will reduce my chances of getting a woman pregnant. My wife and i have sex everyday sometimes twice a day. Now we are ready to start a family we have been trying to conceive and she complains that sex everyday will delay conception by reducing sperm count and quality that we should have sex twice a week then have it everyday during her ovulation window. Both of us are ok medically,my sa was over 70million normal sperm being 65% while abnormal was 35%. Her ultrasound scan says her womb is normal, she has a regular cycle and ovulates. Is she right?

Good day Sir, I have been feeling dizzy for more than two months now, my doctor did FBC and said everything is normal with PCV of 45%. I always feel as if I will fall when I turn my head backward or when I'm talking while standing or when I'm walking and I stop. to keep balance I just have to keep moving or sitting. I was referred to an ENT doctor, after telling him how I feel and looking into my ears he said my condition is not ENT related so he prescribed Neurovite for me which I have taken for 2weeks now without any improvement. I need your help and advice pls..

Yes and No. There is a certain school of thought in the medical community that too many intercourse can affect your chances of effectively producing quality sperm and/or impregnating. That number is arbitrary and dependent/varies from individual to individual.

However, two times a day everyday is not really extreme especially if you are healthy/or sperm normal and/or healthy uterus/tubes

That said, the optimal is believed to be sex every 2 to 3 days in order to increase your chances. Frequency of sex doesn't really have much impact as much as it is timing and healthy sperm.

Sperm can hang on uterus for up to 7 days, her ovulation window plus or minus 5 days maximum

I wish you well.

ECG will detect his heart rhythms or pick up if he has structural heart abnormalities.

He needs to see a doctor and get an ECG and (chest xray possibly) as starters. Depending on what test reveals, can proceed with further test such as echocardiogram to rule out valve dysfunction.

It is possible that his case is benign since he is quite young. But, it pays to rule out familial heart issues.

Does he have any symptoms as in chest pain, dizziness or feeling lightheaded etc.?

It could be your ear; a condition called Benign paroxysmal positional vertigo. Look it up and tell me if it fits your symptoms

It could also you be vasculature, carotid thickening. In that case, you need an imaging; though it is usefulness is somewhat controversial.

It can be your brain/cerebellum; in that case, to rule out, you need brain MRI

it can be other conditions of your inner ear.

What is your age range and medical condition that you are aware of?

Any medications/supplements that you are taking?

Bin3:

it sounds musculoskeletal pain. I take it you are in your 20s. Have you tried ibuprofen or paracetamol and the like? Do you wear hard wired bra? Do you engage in strenuous activities where you utilize your upper body muscles a lot or? Injury/fall recently? Posture/position especially sleeping at night can contribute to muscle strain.

So, how long does a typical bout of sharp chest pain last? And, exactly how long has it being going on?

So, no injuries or fall at any point in the past? Do you get any other symptoms of light headedness or dizzy or fatigued or weak?

Try ibuprofen to relieve pain. You may also want to check out a doctor for quick exam since I cannot see you.
Re: Doctor in the House: Free Medical Advice Available by Nobody: 9:32pm On Jan 04, 2016
joshuamoses101:
the drugs that were prescribed are antifungal. Eczematous rash will not respond to antifungal unless there is superimposed fungal infection. I will suggest that if truly properly diagnosed as eczema, then you need more eczema targeted cream such as steroid cream; hydrocortison.e will do. Then, also try good moisturizer.

michaelshow:
weakness, fatigue and heaviness of skin are vague; I suggest getting a physical exam. Can check your blood work too; blood count, thyroid hormone and chemistry to start. Can also describe more about yourself and medical history and symptoms for further clarification.
