My name is Mrs Chibuike and l got married in May 2013. l was waiting on the Lord for the fruit of the womb and He answered me in Nov 2015.
l became the most happiest woman on Earth, my colleagues,parents,in laws and other were so happy with me that some will even dance on seeing my body. The pregnancy was out because l have big tummy to compare what 11 weeks look like.
Unfortunately, on 1/01/2016 l noticed some brownish colour coming out of my body and l went to the hospital but was told that my baby was not function well and was given injection. l was told to go for an ultrasound yesterday but the result shows that my baby is 11 weeks and is lifeless.
l am so devastated with this news of my first loss that l don't wanna do the D&C as prescribed by Doc.I find it difficult to believe cos this baby brought out a good side of happiness in my marriage. l have no other people to break this news to rather to come this family#Nairaland to build me with kind words before l break the news out to my family and my colleagues. Am so confused that am thinking is my fault that it happened....... Please somebody should talk to me... and don't be angry l posted it here but this section is my home.

I'm no mediCal student. But I thought the baby remains lifeless till the fourth month? Anyway, I'm really sorry about your loss. Everything happens for a reason.

An ultrasound can detect the fetal heartbeat way before the fourth month (6-7 weeks thereabout).

@Op, sorry for your loss. God will compensate you with triplets. It may be hard but dwelling on it will bring you more sorrow. Let go and try for another baby. Goodluck.

@op, I'm sorry for your loss. It happened to me once but i didn't lose the baby. The Doc ordered for emergency ultrasound and there was strong heartbeat @9wks. My baby is now almost 2yrs old. Don't worry it happens sometimes, God is in control and he will reward you for your patience by giving you another one. Who knows your next one may be twins, triplets or even quadruplets?

My wife lost 2 pregnancies cos we could not manage success. We told all and sundry but after some time she took in again. We did not tell anybody till she gave birth. They were all suprised.

No one will come to your house to celebrate cos you are pregnant, and people only share testimonies when they give birth. Not when they are pregnant. Be wise madam. We live in a wicked world.
