Na so them break my guy hand on new year day for merogun and collected his money, killed a boy cos he said he has no phone on him.... Na so one chemist dey klose store around 7pm few days back in a hurry and refused to sell drugs to a friend of mine, tellin him that he recieved a call from his police friend who told him that robbers are coming to the street. Na so my guy take discharge oooo, n truly robbers came to rob only for police to come the next day to arrest innocent boys.


Mind you, not all the boys you see paraded by police with guns and stolen items are truly thieves........ Well, such is the life we live in...




But to my waffi brothers, though the street aint friendly take things easy oooo kos na jew man dey tell strong man story to others about how im take die oooo. We still run the street cos the street don teach us so many things that we couldn't learn in the classroom

I don't think it's armed robbery per say, but it's some kind of community disturbance. My neighbour said over 40 angry youths stormed the premises chanting songs of protest. He actually left the building using one of the emergency exit doors. Your brother could perhaps do same if it's not too late. Still awaiting more info on what's really going on though.

Community disturbance is at the root of the underdevelopment of Effurun.

well, Warri and Effurun are two different LGAs but one city because there is no clear demarcation. A visitor to either places will not be able to differentiate between them even if they have lived there for a year. The popular Enerhen junction which was made popular by comedians in d 90s is not even in Warri LGA but in uvwie.

my stomach churns at news like this..small boy when wan try hustle small nai dem com still shoot?hope he didn't die sha!Warri dey hot o..I was waylaid at deco junction by 7pm by a guy with knife,he pulled my gold necklace and earrings given to me by my mum as an admission gift.I just dey shake that day,dey pray say God help me escape unhurt.The way d guy dey reek of igbo eh!I just know say na those culture guys for igbudu mkt,that banga soup line at UCC back gate.Even the ones that robbed main mkt last 2 yrs,I narrowly escaped it.I followed my aunt to buy her wedding rings,that enterance where they sell walking sticks by the roadWe had not left for up to 2 hrs when the news came in that they robbed mainmkt,carted away gold of over 14 million naira.A salesgirl near where we bought d rings,was shot twice,she died on the spot.My mum's friend at hausa road selling gold was the lady that was killed,alongside her husband.These things will pursue investors from warri..Me sef wen be waffi brought up dey fear to waka last december.That's why I just advised myself to relocate to a serene place.Its not cool at all,make dem find sth do abeg.The town was cool at a point when they were soldiers.Then d cutting of gold reduced at hausa quarter.Funny enough when you see those guys for court,u go wan pity them.You won't even know d evil they have done in the past.They just have to do something abeg.

The problem with Warri is lack of jobs. DSC Aladja that is supposed to employ up to 5000 people has been abandoned by the govt. Shell and a lot of other oil companies have relocated to PH because of youth restiveness. There was an oil servicing firm that I and 9 other guys did an interview. 3 of us were successful and were scheduled for medicals. All of a sudden Enerhen youths came to the company with sticks and machetes demanding that any interview that had been conducted cannot stand and that that they are the ones to bring in workers since it is their community. The company had to give in to their demands and that was how I lost a very good opportunity of getting a job in an oil firm.
