Teamie this confusion of pregnacare and prescribed anc drugs is sometimes tiring. But please don't take both.
One mama recommended i resume taking the pregnacare at 4months. I stopped at 2months due to the reaction to my ms.
So you can choose to take any of them, either the pregnacare or the ANC drugs.

How did your first anc class go? Me i have funny stories to share o. Like how i went there i sat down without taking number. People just dey enter dey take number, and i just balance with my googles.

This happened for about 3-4 times. I even inserted a white towel in my pp, but no discharge. The discharge is colourless and odourless. Hobby and I have been so scared since then, and Lo sef has not been kicking well. All I feel is heaviness on my pelvic bone and pp. Pls am just 35 weeks, should I be scared?

If u feel baby isn't kicking well, u cld do a scan to b sure everything s OK. I don't think d thick discharge s anything to worry abt. Also had same experience.Stop inserting anything o, biko.

I had a very funny experience during my first antenatal visit. When I got there, I was given a container to produce my urine, all I thought was they wanted to do pregnancy test for me since it was my first visit. I gave them my urine and the nurse said negative. I was like NEGATIVE or what did you say? She said yes, that it s negative. I was like no, it cant be negative, it has to be positive, the nurse looked at me in amazement and said POSITIVE ke. I asked them to let me see the doctor ASAP, I immediately called darling husband who is a doctor too and told him that my pregnancy test came back negative, he was giving me some explanations I wasn't ready to listen to. I went back to the nurse to retake the urine test, they said its negative. I started fighting. And that was the point one of the nurses reasoned with me and asked me if I was a first timer. I said yes, and they all bursted into laughter. I was confused, they later told me it wasn't pregnancy test, it was protein and glucose test which I wouldn't want to be positive at all. Chai, shame catch me ehn. Otondo tins

Thank you all for the congratulation message.Really appreciate it. now to my BS. My edd was supposed to be on the 25 of Dec but I was woken up by strong contractions around 1am of18th. I monitored the contractions and noticed the intervals were not consistent. We decided to wait till day break before heading to the hospital.

Got to the hospital and I was hoping I will only be examined and sent back home because I had prayed fervently not to deliver before edd because of some family arrangement but the nurses decided to keep me at the hospital, without examining and the doctors kept passing me by. I was examined later in the day (dat thing they pain die) and my cervix was still closed, na so the doctor say I come play for hospital that I should lie down and eat nothing solid.

I was getting frustrated cos two pregnant women came in after me and were delivered of their babies. Saturday morning during rounds, I was examined again and I was 2 cm dilated, the thing come tire me because I felt I would be more dilated considering it is over 24hrs I have been in labour, at this point tears began to flow from my eyes and another set of prayer began. 2hours after, I was reexamined and was 3cm, called my sis who is a midwife to explain what the doctor said, she told me point blank that if I think I can cope with long hours of labour I should opt for CS. Na so anxiety come set in, I told her I will switch off my phone because I was tired of all the calls and noise my phone was making. I also told my husband to leave, since he wasn't allowed into the labour room.

By the time Iaid back on the bed, I discovered my mucus plug had come off. Around to 12, some drips were administered and oxytocin was included, my water was broken by the doctor using a scissor like instrument.

Within 30mins, I started feeling the effects of the drip, the pain can't be explained, tried every idea I had in mind not to shout, from counting 1-10 to breathing in and out but sometimes I couldn't help the loud noise I was making And because I was the only one in the labour room the nurses had my time.

By 1pm, I had the urge to poo, told the nurse and they ignored me, I had to keep shouting before they took me serious, the midwife checked me and discovered I was fully dilated and was surprised, she said she felt I Won't be till Evening. Was rushed to the delivery room, I never knew pushing is not a walk in the park, I was pushing and the nurses kept telling me I was not doing it right, can't remember how many times I pushed still no show, I then began to tell the baby to come out and stress me cause I am tired from the hard work he subject me. when it was getting prolonged, I was given a little cut and baby came out by 1:15 pm weighing 3.5kg and placenta followed.

I am sorry for the delay in bs, has to quickly type this while lo is asleep. Vigilante is real and even worse when you have no help. To the remaining belleful mama's, quick and safe delivery I pray for you. to all that have given birth, May they be a source of joy and blessing to us.

You can keep under room temperature for 4-6hours.
Or you put ice packs in a cooler and use until 24hours.
More greese to your elbow.
