Forgive me Mamas for bringing this here. But I have come to see this group as a family. Believe it or not, y'all symbolically held my hand through a difficult pregnancy.
Right now, I hate my husband. He does nothing but routinely condemns everything I do; from how I wipe the baby's bum, my cooking, how I light a fire to how I look. Did I create myself to be slim?
This is a behaviour I have spoken about to him severally.
Just yesterday, he eyeballed me and said he prays when our daughter grows up, she looks like his younger sister and not me. I don't know if i'm overreacting, but that statement hurt me deeply.
Now, I have low self esteem issues. I am afraid to even breathe in his presence for fear of being condemned.
I'm thinking of relocating away from him.

Although no one is perfect I'll advise u take to his corrections, is there something u're not doing right then please change, Lots of women lazy around especially when they strt having kids, while few husbnds ignore, some see it as a big deal.......I'll advise that u start putting in extra effort in doing things just d way he wants it, although it might not be as exact as he wants but u can always try, but na wa oooo...ur hubby no see say u slim before he marry u?

hmmmm, I am so sorry that there are men like this in this day and age. After carrying his baby for nine months he treats you like you don't belong? Did anybody force him to marry you? But before we all condenm him, remember that it is only God who turns things around. Don't runaway if he is not cheating or abusing you physically. Be prayerful in all you do, don't give up on God now. One day he will thank you for staying even when he made you want to go, remember both of you are not from the same mother, he might not like the way you do things and expect you to be properly home trained not realising that home trainings are not the same. Please don't say you hate him, keep praying. Will do the same for you, your moniker tells a story and God will see you through, just keep holding on love.

(Even though man has said I can't go that journey again) I know my Redeemer lives and He alone can make the impossible possible!

Sorry dear. Don't take it personal. You may ask him to show you how to do it or give you tips on how to do it. I always ask my husband to do the task while I watch. Trust me next time, he won't complain.

My husband complains that I am slim and he is praying that I still retain my post partum body.
He complains that I do not make up and he doesn't want my daughter to be like me. I will laugh it off and tell him no one will ever take my place in his house.

Happy new year to all the lovely mothers in this thread......been MIA for some time now, this waddling ministry no be beans at all.

Been faithfully believing I am carrying twins though my other half here always addressed the baby as a Singleton. I would tell him he should join me in faith and address them properly but he never did.

So when we finally went for sonar, our baby is a Singleton, he quickly asked if it was a boy, the baby showed us the bum bum, refusing to show us the real deal. The doctor said, "Sir, by the way I see things, we might be seeing a girl, but come back when your wife is 24 weeks to check again." We were both not happy, me because God didn't give me my heart desire, him because he doesn't want a girl!!!!

But after some days, after telling God I was totally angry with HIM and telling HIM my mind, I took my bible and remembered that it is HIS WILL to give us the desires of our hearts. Most times when we pray, we forget to ask HIM also to do HIS will in our lives, so now I am content with the baby HE has indeed blessed me with, I have already declared OLUWASEUN, AYOMIDE and I will forever be grateful. GOD knows every plan HE ()has for the baby in me and its not up to me to challenge HIM on HIS will.

Let me tell u abt mine.......am a size 8 woman b4 i married wit a very flat tummy.after i put to bed,am now wearing size 10.my husband always complain dat my tummy is still big n it shld go back to my pre wedding look.at first it hurt me but now wen he complain i just laugh at him n tell him he cant eat hs cake n hav it.
This is d same husband that ppl will be askin me in hs presence wat i use to get flat tummy back after delivery.

@ Mittchy, sorry for not replying earlier, my subscriprion expired, i just re-subscribe. the pregnacare stuff can be confusing sometimes, people have different opininon abt it. an experienced mother and family friend asked me to continue with pregnacare, and I should add feroglobin to it that it is very good. Am still taking pregnacare but av not bought the feroglobin.
Meanwhile my first Antenatal class was okay sha. when I saw others going to take number I joined them, after that they sang and prayed. then taught us how to take care of our pregnancy, that was all. I don't really think I like the place, it is a private maternity.
Once I get back to school by next week, I would register for antenatal at FMC Owerri, because it is a health centre.
