Even the pix you just showed has better planning - with a city center (CBD) with skyscrapers - than anything your disjointed and unplanned glorified villages in the SE has to offer. Till today only Lag, Abj and IB have a well-planned CBD. That same city boasts of the first skyscraper in tropical Africa at the time it was completed. Isn't it a sad shame that till today no single building in the entire SE can match it in height and elegance? Funny enough, that pix was taken in the 70s. You can see how clean that marketplace is, now compare that to these, and tell me how human beings (not pigs) can 'trade' and do 'business' in such filth, as evidenced in the picture? Only in Igboland.

COntinue deceiving urself. no corrugated iron roofing sheets before the arrival of white men, all those houses are colonial era houses. Other places have theirs but have since moved on and renovated or demolished while a little remnants of it is still remaining. this is Aba, u can see small section of colonial ibadan type buildings still remaining while the greater percentage of the city have moved on
