You're right. I totally agree with you. It took me a while to seat for my CCNA too. In fact, I had to settle for the CCNAX after procrastinating for so long. I am not sure about the guys here but I won't be working on CCNA anytime soon. However, I could work something out but I won't know when until after about a week or so as I'm tied up with other commitments.

A L3 Switch works as a SWITCH cum ROUTER. In fact, most small to medium organizations prefer to go this route as they can save money and space with having a SWITCH do the same thing as a router. And it doesn't have to be the latest catalyst switches, brother. All switches (CISCO) are fast and intelligent. I'm sure you're familiar with CISCO's ASIC.

Preparation is in top gear... I'm through with reading stuff.....it remains videos stuff now(jeremy cioara) especially latter parts of the syllabus are 'proven stubborn' and I believe watching videos will make one to grasp almost everything here ( ccent 2)...exams to be taken after thorough prep .....finally, I can't say if you've any opening, I'm up to the tasks as I can confidentially tell you I'm no more a novice in the field of networking... doing ccna is just to make it official... any job IT job for me??

To ALL, I don't know if you've been following the thread from the beginning but I do not welcome the idea of sharing videos or cracks or whatnot that has to do with the exam. First, CISCO is so cranky about it and Second, I happen to know a few of the Authors (most especially Narbik and those that work at Micronics) that publish these guides and I know how much work and countless sleepless nights they put in to make thousands of studying hours into a single book, possible. I don't think they'd be encouraged to see a bunch of fellows somewhere on the other side sharing it freely and uploading on cloud. CISCO bans you automatically if they find out. Keep in mind that if you happen to sit for the exam, you're not allowed to tell someone else the kind/set of questions you got at the exam. It's ILLEGAL.

And P.S: I'm not condemning anybody. Keep the knowledge sharing fire burning

DanIndia here. I'm planning to start a study group on Cisco certifications... as of now, it will be purely basic stuffs - CCNA topics mostly.
If anyone is interested in participating and is up for some hardcore hours labbing and has a laptop with the required specifications to run GNS3 and Packet Tracer, and is looking to motivate others, learn with others then comment on this thread and let me know if you're interested.

P.S: This is no advertisement for a Cisco Institution or some course with an Institution or whatsoever. This is just a personal invitation to learn together as a group. You are right about cracks and dumps. However, training videos are not ILLEGAL. If a person aims to do self study, and gets training videos to use as his/her learning resource, I don't see anything wrong with that.
Remember that training companies such as CBTNuggets have certified trainers that also publish for Cisco press.

What I'm offering to assist him with are not examination dumps or any illegal stuff; rather, they are training videos to help him cope with his self study.
