LEAVE OLISA METUH ALONE. OLISA METUH NA OUR SON. WE MUST PROTEST
Not surprised the N2k a protest crowd have dwindled.
When there is no free govt funds to dole out and your accounts where u stashed stolen wealth has been blocked, the paid protesters automatically dwindle.

Only if Buhari had done the same to Jafuru Isa , I would taken him seriously.
Buhari just reminds of Former President Motsi of Egypt.

Whats the point in putting him in handcuffs? This man is a known public figure, are there beliefs he will try to run away?
I guess the intention is to publicly embarrass him.

Handcuffs are supposedly meant for violent and dangerous criminals. If the government continues in it's desperate effort to humiliate these people and at the end of the day the court fails to convict them, they'd end up turning them into overnight heroes.

Every accused person should be treated with dignity, they are innocent until proven otherwise by a court of law.

This act of handcuffing an accused or suspect of elite class because he is opposition mouthpiece, will not augur well for our polity, mind u,people supporting this act and laughing may also be the people victimized in future, a precedence has been laid by buhari administration, that other administration will follow, gagging the oppositions.

Someone who steals money meant for weapons is very violent and dangerous criminal. Anyone who supports corruption is violent and dangerous criminal.

He is known thief that ate our yams meant to better the lives of our soldiers,
His legs should have been in chains too, he is a dangerous criminal that swallowed written statement.

Hmmm... This is an interestingly strange development. With the amount of yams he has consumed, I doubt he would be physically fit enough to run away; so why did they have to handcuff him?... Even the NIMASA guy who visibly resisted arrest and was bundled into the EFCC danfo bus, he wasn't handcuffed in his last appearance in court. What could be the explanation for this?

He stole money meant for weapons because you said so? I'm not holding brief for Metu, but the LAW states that every accused is considered innocent until proven guilty by the law courts. It's is as simple as that! What most of you guys fail to know is the kind of precedence that is being set here. Let's stop all these jungle justice/heard mentality of crucify him~crucify him. It fit be you tomorrow.

Thanks for asking the obvious questions. Let's not allow our hatred for these yam eaters deny us of critical thinking. The current twist of things mustn't be unconnected with his recent criticism of the government. They are just trying to break and humiliate him.

I hope PMB and APC can really sustain the what they have started because it will surely boomerang.
I totally support the fight against corruption, but it must be holistic, fair and just, and not perceived to be one sided based on party or political affiliations.
It's just four years, power intoxicates but wisdom is profitable to direct.
Those of you shouting and cheering on without deep reasoning, remember when two elephants fight it's the grass(masses) that suffers.
Revenge is like a wild fire that consumes all, including the person that's using it as a weapon.
At first so many will cheer this government on,but creating too many enemies same time isnt wise!
When these so called corrupt guys gang up together and fight back,it ain't gonna be pretty especially with the present state of the economy.
2019 is gonna be a do or die affair with the kind of precedence been set......
. Let them fight back, we are waiting for them at the battlefield. Nigeria must kill corruption before the reverse happens.

No sane government will put a prominent person like Olisa Metuh in handcuffs if he has not done anything to warrants such. AIT boss was sent to Kuje, he was brought to court without handcuffs, Bode George never handcuffed either. Olisa Metuh must have displayed some violent conduct or something stupid to warrant his being cuffed.

Those in government should have in their mind that what goes around comes around. Olisa Metuh's case should be a lesson to them

No matter what people would say about this and link it to Buhari's government. I must remind Nigerians that under Obasanjo's PDP government a former number one police officer (Tafa Balogun) was handled in same manner by EFCC and in one occassion when he failed to promptly enter a waiting car, he was pushed and dragged into the car by mobile police men attached to EFCC and he hit his head on the car and was bleeding but yet he was forced into the car by same men he onced commanded. So there is nothing new under the sun. If Nyako did not go into hiding from Jonathan's government his treatment would have been worst. Methu played the sturbon one and as you know it, he would not be shown mercy by the law enforcement agencies even when the officer in charge is an Igbo man. Mbu Joseph Mbu was out there against governor Amaechi and the EFCC locked Tinubu in for days, where were the wailers then? What goes around comes around someday.

No accused politician should be treated with dignity.

Especially when you have credit in your account from a fraudulent source and you refuse to explain the purpose.

He does not deserve any dignity.

If he is a yahoo , yahoo won't he be cuffed.

Is it not financial crime too ?
