Why are Yorubas hating on anything good associated with the the igbos??

Are igbos to be blamed for the lackadaisical performances of Yoruba teams

Abi na Igbos tell Yoruba business moguls not to invest in youths development via football
Coz they are Brazilians doesn't mean they better skilled than Nigerians.

NB; capital oil should be more concerned about paying his workers.

Why didn't he tell us the club's they coming from? Or isn't the deal suppose be between two clubs? Or they on free transfer? They just went ahead to pick guys from the street of Brazil and call them pro.

Probably these Brazilian dudes have nt played professional football in their lives, not even in academies. Believe me, u will get better players than them in my street in Aba. Just coz dy r white, it hit front page. I hope dy won't be owed like other players, or abandoned with no trans to return to Nnewi wen dy loose away. My best wishes are always with NPFL clubs. I rep Enyimba 24/7

Sometimes it's better to stay mute than type rubbish.
That name[the man, Ifeanyi Ubah] can change your financial history within minutes.
Beefing people above you ain't a sane thing to do!

Abia, not Anambra, so take a chill...

You are wrong. It's Anambra.

FC Ifeanyi Ubah is based in Nnewi and Nnewi is the 3rd largest city in Anambra.

Abia has both Enyimba FC and Abia Warriors.

And Enugu, the famous Rangers International.

Have You heard of any sane club all over the world named after their owners??

It's just plain vanity / narcissism to name a sports club after yourself. undecided

Just like ABIOLA Babes, ba?

LEVENTIS United

GIWA FC

IWUANYANWU Nationale

And in South Africa, JOMO Cosmos is named after the owner and coach Jomo Sono. Kaiser Chiefs is named after Kaiser Motaung the founder and chairman. Etc.

Moreover, when Government owns a FC or sports team they most often name it after the State e.g. Kano Pillars, Niger Tornadoes, Plateau United, Rivers Angels, etc.

If I own a football club today will I name it after myself? No. The reason is I do not name things after myself - not my companies, not my brands, not my children. I love independence and give anything that belongs to me the opportunity to carve its' own identity and make its' own mark. That doesn't mean that those who do name things after themselves are wrong, egocentric or narcissistic. It's their choice.

On a lighter note, I'm sure Ifeanyi Ubah will have sleepless night if the team were to perform poorly as he will not like to hear:
'Ifeanyi Ubah is at the bottom of the log',
'Ifeanyi Ubah beaten mercilessly by Enyimba' or
'Ifeanyi Ubah trashed again'.

So, to avoid that he will continue to invest in the club and the league which is to the benefit of football.

No it should have gone maybe after his state or town he lives in or comes from.. That seems more appropriate to me

Please I think you need to tell Dangote, Honda and Toyota that. These are all the names of the owners of these respective companies.

THANK YOU!

I still think its narcissism naming your club after yourself.

Well, it's a human characteristic.

What of if you hear FC Dangote or Honda FC or Toyota FC? These are all brand names. There's nothing right in what you're talking about, since it's the person's establishment. I think you're just being bias. I wonder how you felt when Mr. Innoson named his car production line Innoson Motors. Please let people do what they feel like doing what they own.
