jeffoe: Hehehehe... Bros no worry. Alot of guys in this forum including myself had the same issue last year. Ensure the following 1.that your transcript was sent directly to UAF by your university. 2.that the back flap of the envelope is properly sealed and stamped. Tell the transcript officer to use official stamp wound d envelope across the back flap. The back flap is the part of the envelope that seals it. Concerning the CGPA part don't recalculate just include ur final CGPA. UAF dem b wherey sometimes. 1 Like |

jeffoe: I also got this mail sometime last December. UAF bounced 3 copies of my transcript. The issue was from my university's transcript officer coz they put the stamp before sealing the envelope. I had to send new ones to UAF again and this time around, I had to personally guide d officer-in-charge on how to send d transcripts. Fortunately, UAF accepted the new copies I sent the 2nd time. So I'll advise you to do the same. Don't consider the cost coz I spent 33,000 sending 3 copies of my transcript to UAF. Sending the 2nd time totalled 66,000. Lastly, send it asap coz the earlier the better so u can know how far. 1 Like |

Re: Studying In Finland (free Tuition) by tobzzy(m): 6:22am On Jan 20, 2016 |
ceiling:it is not... infact it cant work because docs need to be notarized |
Re: Studying In Finland (free Tuition) by Finn081(f): 7:59am On Jan 20, 2016 |
tobzzy:Haba which notorized again? he is going for undergraduate now. Just make sure it is ur certificates and so far the language is already in English you don't need to notorize. |

Are people applying to TUT to submit their transcript to UAF or are they to send it directly to TUT admissions office? |
Re: Studying In Finland (free Tuition) by Nobody: 3:24pm On Jan 20, 2016 |
Finn081:He must notorise because it is photocopy. If not na waste of time. |
Re: Studying In Finland (free Tuition) by Nobody: 3:32pm On Jan 20, 2016 |

hakeembee: i am curious because the delivery address shows TUT address and not UAF. please check the links; http://www.tut.fi/en/admissions/applying-to-tut/masters-degrees/how-to-apply/application-process/index.htm and https://studyinfo.fi/app/#!/korkeakoulu/1.2.246.562.17.36541415927 |
Re: Studying In Finland (free Tuition) by Nobody: 7:05am On Jan 21, 2016 |
mavinc4u:Mail UAF and TUT, asap. Thats the best way. But since no time again mail them today by tomorrow or next you will be replied. Or if other applicants to TUT on this forum can shed more light to this. |
Re: Studying In Finland (free Tuition) by Finn081(f): 9:48am On Jan 21, 2016 |
hakeembee: tobzzy: hakeembee: So what does this mean? ” The photocopies of your certificates do not have to be attested” that was the replied I got from one UAS, you can also send them mail and see their reply. Even the message I got when I finished the online registration did not say anything about certify or notorize. |
Re: Studying In Finland (free Tuition) by shayhune: 2:00pm On Jan 21, 2016 |
mavinc4u: It is clearly stated on your application form that all your docs MUST be sent to TUT. This is because TUT is not one of the schools under UAF. They process their applications differently and by the way, you didn't apply to TUT on the UAF platform. Lemme also assume you didn't see the same TUT address which was printed multiple times on your application form. In fact, it's also stated on the TUT website that all documents must be sent to TUT. It'll do you good to read all necessary information carefully when applying to whatever programmes and schools. If you applied to TUT, you need to send your docs to TUT not UAF. |

Good day everyone, located this thread after months lol. I see many people are planning another attack on Finland hehehe, I wish everyone of you good luck. To my Gs Olabode, Goskian et al, how finland be for una? After my experience last year, I have decided not to bother with Finland or any schengen country again forever and ever. Their prejudiced decision RE: my residence permit last year was just shameful. Nigeria is a stupid country, the law here is a joke. I counted my losses and moved on. I want to try Yankee for spring 2017 admission. Registered for GRE and Toefl already. No money like that o, I hope I get a scholarship/fellowship/graduate assistantship. If you have info on these, please share with me o. We fit talk privately. Thanks |
Re: Studying In Finland (free Tuition) by Nobody: 2:24pm On Jan 22, 2016 |
Those currently in Finland, it's important to also share your experience o. I have a guy there who has condemned the country so much. He said jobs are almost impossible to find yet things are so so expensive to buy especially now that the Naira is as valueless as the virginity of Nigerian girls these days. He's lowkey regretting his decision to go there. Of course there are ups and downs, don't get me wrong. He has simply criticized the job opportunities there, the discrimination. So, just try to let the European dream chasers know what they're coming to face. It's just a suggestion. |
