And who castigated our economy?

Wasn't it the same APC before being elected that rubbished our rebased economy?

Wasn't it this same useless boko that announced to the world that the govt is broke and that the economy is in bad shape?

Their unguarded statements and zero fiscal policy direction caused more damage to the economy than the past 16yrs combined.

Now their only solution is to borrow and find a deficit reckless budget which we and our kids will be saddled to repay long after they are long dead and buried.

Use brain zombie

Ofcourse our economy was booming during the rain of PDP
Am sure we were not even in debt during those time
Yes, one could even compare our economy to that of a first world country

Am i right?

Pls kindly tell me which govt in the history of Nigeria that has proposed a reckless 50% deficit budget based on loans that is expected to climb to 9trillion before the end of the year.

Your answer as always must be brief and devoid of senseless blame tactics.

They are all dwelling on religion: arguing on Christian vs Muslim lines.
A supposed "Christian "president was in charge when our national treasury was turned to all comers ATM simply because he did not give a damn.
Some of the people that allegedly stole the nation blind were "devote and strong "Christians and Muslims.
In fact, with the benefit of hindsight.it appears there was a contest amongst the Christians and Muslim faithful to see who would out steal the other.

Let's wake up.
Hunger does not know religion.
How come we are blaming govt for embracing interest free Islamic funding when the institutions set up by our supposed Christian brothers and countries have pegged cut throat inaccessible debt financing?

When has religious consideration become a fundamental in modern day financing options and decisions especially for well trained and learned minds like yours
Re: FG To Fund Budget Through Sukuk Bond by AreaFada2: 1:03pm On Jan 23, 2016
Let me start selecting a Muslim name just in case.

Because when push come to shove, if you have another name, you will be a 5th class citizen. cheesy

Now all the capital restriction make sense.

Aboki is using so-called educated Southerners. Soon there will be no more loans or deposits with interest.

Brace yourselves folks.
If not because Lamido Sanusi is now Sarkin, he would have returned to CBN to complete the agenda.

No wonder they selected a compliant rookie as finance minister.

I prayed against the IMF loan and by GOD's grace, you stopped it. If that loan has gone through, they would have SHARED that money.. Buhari, a regional chief and a diirector of Islam has planned to take another Islam loan. God Almighty, you know Islam as the world most deadly religious group that has caused uncountable deads and destruction of many properties. Buhari attempted to Islamise Nigerian some years back, we prayed and you The God Almighty turned it down. Almighty, your children are crying again, Buhari is back in as the president and is planning to take an Islam loan. Almighty, hear the cries of your children and send your most powerful Angels to stand against it. Send your Angels to stand by your children so that this loan will die just like the way the IMF loan died. Amen.

It's actually quite funny funny that a budget total of 6 - 8 trillion naira was reached by this administration without the input of ANY minister or economic financial/advisory team just our president's hangers on SHIKENA.
Some time later, ministers and other noise makers were reluctantly appointed and by December last year, the budget was presented before a joint session of the national assembly by Bubu but alas, it was filled with different calibers of yams e.g 3.9 billion naira for BMW cars for the presidency alone shocked shocked plus some other disgraceful entrances while Nigerians were begged to tighten our belts, the noise was so much that rats had to eat the budget documents both online and offline from the national assembly.
Thinking that a good conscience will touch the hearts of our Aso rock occupants, a "revised" budget was brought forward again but its still the same ol shít i.e. 6 trillion naira +, what just happened was that figures were moved around on the document even if it meant duplicating allocations along various parastatals bottom line being there's still a 2+ trillion naira deficit that someone is seriously interested in and that person doesn't want it to go away even if he/she knows that the debt servicing will punish our children's generations to come.

Nigerians got rid of a pick pocket from Aso rock and brought in an armed robbery gang.

ARGUE WITH YOUR ANCESTORS

the worst thing to happen to human being in life is to be a religion bigot and tribal bigot. So anything that will benefit us from islamic country should not accepted but the one that come from christian country like israel should be accepted because christians are the dominant. In fact. 90-95 percent of laws and economy policies we are using is from white which favours christians but anytime they mentioned something related islam is problem while islam is the majority in this country. But if they can help us get a soft loan that will not affect our economy in nearest future from their church, I think we muslim will accpet it good faith.

I'd call it satisfying the rants of a senseless rabid cbn governor called sanusi

Sanusi tried to use the whole Islamic banking thing as leverage for himself knowing that it's refusal of course would lead to uprising by its supporters e.g. you.

News flash Islamic banking got introduced into the Nigerian banking scene by soludo . Though not harped upon till sanusi Who felt he could use it as leverage.

One question : How many Islamic banks dey today now for Nigeria?

Its not by making noise they open bank
