(1) We should thank them for what they have done so far but let them know that we are indeed in a tight corner. They must reduce their desire for luxury for now.
(2) They must be a bit transparent with the recoveries. What have we recovered and from who. Otherwise, the recovered loots will disappear like previous ones. We can demand for such transparency
(3) I have being hearing about need to diversify into large scale farming since early 70's. It is time to come up with a blue print about what we want to do about agric and may be have a fora to discuss facts and figures about our successes as we go along and map out action plans to redress shortfalls.
(4) The president is not really a politician but he is loved by almost all Nigerians. He can use this goodwill to get things done even when the political class are not very willing to provide the needed support. We must all support him because Nigeria can not afford a failure at this stage.

(5) We must presurise government to review and rebuild ALL our procedures. They have all collapsed. Otherwise, we will continue to spend all our time and resources to look for thief instead of making it difficult for them to steal us dry and then focus on the complexity of governance.

(6) The list can not be exhausted but we can start from the above.

Wailing zombies aka wailers will still defend such senior officers because they are dedicated to promoting corruption. It is their calling.

I think Lai Mohammed made the right call and by prosecuting them will deter other criminally minded civil servants from acting in such a manner.
