Nice one dear. However, we're not itching to go for service because it is a dead-end achievement (not when I had to leave my full-time work in order to do this).
Its just that NYSC in Nigeria has become the de-facto standard for attainment of greater opportunities, getting and executing Contracts and Projects that has to do with the Government, High end Parastatals and NGOs, and even looking down the political line.

THE TRUTH IS THAT FOR SOME OF US, THE EARLIER WE CAN PRODUCE AN NYSC DISCHARGE LETTER, THE BETTER OUR ABILITIES WILL BE TRUSTED FOR CERTAIN PAYMENT STRUCTURE

With respect to goals we have set for next year and others after the service year, defines the reason why we are anxious to not only go for service on time, but to complete the entire service requirement on time.

NYSC being scrapped had always been my prayer. I graduated some years behind but refused to serve as opportunities showed up.

But this whole exaggerated NYSC thing had deprived me alot of greater grounds.

THE THOUGHT OF SUSPENDING MY LIFE AND ACTIVITIES FOR ONE FULL YEAR FOR SAKE OF SERVICE HAS ALWAYS AND STILL REMAINS A TOUGH ONE FOR ME.

We just don't have a better option as Nigerians!

MODIFIED: It will be better if NYSC becomes optional for sake of my friends who desire it as an experience and source of initial income after school.

VERY WELL BUT WHY I AM AGAINST THE CAPITALIZED AND THUS HAMMERING ON GOING TO COMPLAIN IS THAT

1. WHEN REGISTERATION COMMENCES, SURNAMES WOULD BE LINKED TO JAMB NUMBER

2. THEN THE OVERAGED WOULD BE SORTED OUT FOR EXEMPTION LETTER DURING POSTING WHILE THE ELIGIBLES WOULD BE POSTED (ALL AGES RELATIVE TO 30YRS)

3. HOWEVER, DUE TO THE NUMEROUS COMPLAINT OF ERROR IN DATE OF BIRTH DURING JAMB UTME REGISTRATION AND THE ATTENDANT EXEMPTION THREAT WAS WHY THE LINK FOR CHANGING DATE OF BIRTH USING #300 WAEC/NABTEB SCRATCH CARDS WAS CONCEIVED.

4. REMEMBER THAT 3 ABOVE WAS MADE POSSIBLE BECAUSE THE SAME ICT COMPANY BY NAME SIDMACH OWNS THE CONTRACT FOR NYSC, WAEC AND NABTEB FACILITIES, HENCE THE EASIER LINKAGE OF THE DATA BASE.

5. SO ANY ERROR NOW BY ANY SCHOOL WOULD AUTOMATICALLY AFFECT PROCEEDINGS DURING ONLINE REGISTRATION AND THE REPLY ALWAYS WHEN PCM COULDN'T REGISTER AS OBSERVED FROM B15 IS CONTACT YOUR SCHOOL.

6. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: NECO IS NOT PART OF THE DEAL IS THE REASON ONE CANNOT CHANGE DATE OF BIRTH ERROR ON JAMB DATA BASE WHETHER OVER AGE OR UNDER AGE RELATIVE TO 30YRS AS AT THE TIME OF SCHOOL SENATE'S RESULT APPROVAL.

7. NOTE: TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN, FOR YOU TO CHANGE YOUR DATE OF BIRTH USING SCRATCH CARD DURING ONLINE REGISTRATION, YOU MUST ENSURE THAT THE DATE ON THE WAEC ORIGINAL CERTIFICATE IS NOT 30YRS AND ABOVE, ELSE IT WON'T BE POSSIBLE OO
