Lai Mohammed Replies Goodluck Jonathan On Arms Deal Investigation by JumiR: 6:47am On Jan 30, 2016 |
By JUMI RHODES The Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed has said should former president Dr. Goodluck Jonathan be fingered in the arms deal scandal, he will be probed. Mohammed's response is coming about 48 hours after the ex-president addressed a world press conference in Geneva on Wednesday,27th January 2016. Recall Jonathan had mentioned Mohammed during the press conference that,"As for the Information Minister(Lai Muhammed), you quoted, I was not president in 2006 but in 2010.He said about 15 former governors of states were corrupt. I believe for the Minister of Information to say that, he must name the 15 governors. I also believe the list must be with our security network. The truth will still come out." On Friday, 29th January 2016, Lai Mohammed was at the Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) Ile-Ife where he delivered a speech at the Faculty of Arts Distinguished Guest Lecture with the theme "Nexus between Corruption and Under-development of the Nigeria State". Speaking to newsmen shortly after the lecture, Mohammed said, “The presidency does not micro-manage the anti-graft agencies and the presidency does not decide who to be probed at any point in time. The anti-graft agency will probe him if they feel that he has questions to answer and they would do their job at the appropriate time.” http://dawntodusknews.com/lai-mohammed-replies-goodluck-jonathan-on-arms-deal-investigation/ 3 Likes 1 Share

This liar should let us hear word. And that's the same with all the noise makers masquerading as lovers of Nigeria. It is a fact that Politicians have been killing us since independence. Not just looting but too blind to see beyond their noses. Non of them ever thinks into 10 years in the future, they only see today and yesterday. Lai Muhammed, are you telling us we won't find any fault with you? How about allocating over 50 Billion to your ministry at a time the nation is falling economically? Can you tell us what the money is for? Tell us how much it cost to spread information to Nigerians? Because you haven't said anything tangible since you became minister. What are you researching? Why is your budget bigger than that of agriculture? Which one among the two puts food on the table? You see, it's not yet looting and corruption because you have not spent the money. But will be very soon, because we know your job doesn't deserve 1 billion. 200 Likes 13 Shares |

Equality before the law: No one is above the law. If my Ex president is found guilty, he should be prosecuted as it has been done in other developed countries. All i know is; the inflow and outflow of the fund happened right under his nose. 13 Likes 1 Share |

GEJ the man who proclaimed hypocritically that his ambition is not worth the blood of anyone but turned out to spill the blood of innocent civilian and gallant military men in the North East by monetising their blood. Smh! Na today? Award this, award that! And usually from insignificant and unheard of organisations. When no be Mandela! This is how low and cheap he can go just as he did during the election, looking for endorsements from right left centre, paying with our hard earned monies, dude is still at it. He's busy paying for all the recognitions to save his face as the present govt reveals the scandals that went on during his regime. Pls I will start taking those awards serious when they start making headlines in significant media houses and social platforms. A man that could loot us dry and still smile like all is well is capable of anything. Stay strong for ur fans for now Oga Jona cos pretty soon u would be joining ur boys at EFCC. 75 Likes 3 Shares |

As EFCC is probing the $2.1 billion arms money, OBJ's $13 billion power funds should also come under the EFCC's radar, after all, our money is our money. 54 Likes 4 Shares |

I totally support this. If GEJ is implicated, let him be probed: if Amaechi is implicated, let him be probed. Also, let any subsequent government probe Buhari. Simple. This is healthy for our nation. 30 Likes |

Transmitting from opposition to ruling position remain the most challenging situation. How will you defend when you're used to criticism. Anyway, still have trust in God and Buhari. 3 Likes |

Honestly, Lai Mohammed should just focus on doing what he's supposed to do rather than reply this and replying that whenever anybody say anything negative about the APC. I wonder if he's still the spokesperson for the APC. He should know the difference between the two... 7 Likes |
