(1)why is it dat in integration of say, dy/dx we separate dy/dx as dy=dx in order to perform our integration wer as d operator (d/dx) is inseperable?

(2)What is d proper definition of d term mathematics?

(3)What is a number?

(4)In mathematics, what is a point(.)?

1.Integration is the reverse process of differentiation.The essence of doing that(I.e dy=dx) is to get the original function.
2.Mathematics is the study of numbers,quantity,space,structure and change.It is used throughout the world as an essential tool in many fields,including natural sciences,engineering,medicine and the social sciences.
3.A number is a mathematical object that can be used to count,measure and label.
4.A point in mathematics is an exact position or location on a surface.Note that it is not a thing but a place.The position of a point is indicated by placing a dot with a pencil.A point has no dimensions.

Lol grin
We thought as much. But since we are all learners, one can't be too sure.
Thanks for shedding light.

Good morning all. Happy new month.

use half angle i.e. tanx/2=t. Use Pythagora's theorem to get cosx. You should be able to continue from here

The present value of an annuity is N7000. What is the size of the quarterly payment if its being compounded for 10yrs @ 8% compound quarterly? I have solve something but I just want to sure guys

Correct the questions if I'm mistaken.

1.

1/8 * 7-3 = y3

2-3 * 7-3 = y3

(2*7)-3 = (1/y)-3

2*7 = 1/y

y = 1/14

2.

(√5 -2)2 - z = (1 - √20)2

z = (√5 -2)2 - (1 - √20)2

z = 5 - 4√5 + 4 - 1 + 2√20 - 20

z = -12 - 4√5 + 2√20

z = -12 - 4√5 + 4√5

z = -12

thanks bro
pls for number one

did u equate the powers?

number 2 I dnt really understand,especially,the zpansion of the 1-root2)^2.

If alpha and beta are the root of the equation
ax^2+bx+c=0,where a,b and care constant.
find in terms of a,b n c the expression for
1)1/alpha^2+1/beta^2
2)alpha^3+beta^3.

pls alpha and beta r in symbols

if alpha is $ and beta is # den
$+#= -b/a and $#=c/a

now 1/$2+1/#2 is written as

($2+#2)/$2#2 ------------------(1)

now from the expansion of
($+#)2=$2+#2+2$#
wich implies
($+#)2-2$#=$2+#2
subtitute into (1) dats all and put d values

for d second one, we use pascal triangle to expand i.e
($+#)3=$3+3$2#+3$#2+#3

($+#)3-3$2#-3$#2=$3+#3
simplifying gives

($+#)3-3$#($+#)=$3+#3

insert d values of ($+#) and $# i.e -b/a and c/a

I'm trying to figure out how to modify the - 1/4 and make it 1. Help please. Only then can I invert back to time domain. I thought to multiply through with - 4 so I can achieve 1. But is is altering the standard form. Because I end up multiplying - 4 to the s term in the denominator Thanks

Essentially to Solve Real life problems. To near accurately solve real life problems we model them to mathematical Equations
